This explanation never crossed my mind! I just assumed he was negging my style or afraid that I might leave abruptly since I left it on. Honestly, it was February and I was freezing

"Unnatural" hair colours and short hair. Also one was triggered by me wearing a scarf indoors

I saw a comment on an other sub that called young girls man-haters for saying "ewww, boys!". Isn't that like every girl ever?

Because this argument that men are sexualized too comes up every time female sexualization is discussed. There are way better explanations if you are willing to dig around the internet, but shortly: No, it's not the same because of the structural power imbalance between men and women in our society.

Even fictional characters in movies, tv and books are told to communicate. I loosely follow the discussions about my favourite shows and women are always labelled mean if they dare to walk away from a man.

That's the princess of Norway. The crown princess of Sweden did marry a personal trainer. If you google "prince Daniel" he's listed as a personal trainer

Have you read the handbook? This is one of the most common LVM behaviours and there are thousands of stories like yours on this subreddit. Don't waste your time on him because he's not going to change. Believe him, when he says he's not ready to commit, block and move on.

I showed the FDS handbook to my married friend and she was horrified: "Finding a partner should not be that hard nor a game." She also tried to convince me, that most me are decent. This is funny, because she has followed many of the FDS principles and that's how she found her seemingly high-value husband. Our mutual acquaintances would talk behind her back how she's "mean to her dates" or "just using men", because she would ditch them as soon as she was no longer feeling it. One guy even sold h…

Yes! Men on my mother's side of the family have not been the greatest but the women have been absolutely thriving for generations. They relied on each other, not men.

I once asked a guy, why did he use word cuddling as we're both adults and could just say sex. He got really offended and tried to argue he absolutely did not mean sex. Yeah, right 😄

Recently there was a criminal case in Finland, where a married couple was sentenced to prison for raping a teenage girl. Apparently they wanted to "spice up" their sex life, as they had seen in porn.

We usually know what we want, but we hide it in order to protect ourselves.

My dad was a serious workaholic and often working away from home. He saw me for the first time when I was two weeks old, because I was born during the peak season for his business. He had even promised to my mom he would pick us up from the hospital. Mom then had to call my godmother for help, because they would not discharge us without a second adult.

You can't just have one llama or alpaca, because they are herd animals and can basically die of loneliness. Having only one cow is okay, but you need at least two llamas or alpacas.

Also, they scout people who are already good looking and then teach them to sing and dance.

I know a mom who, not only approved her son's extramarital affairs but told the wife she prefers the misstress. Another one was completely fine with her son leaving his family (gf, toddler and a newborn), moving across the country and essentially going no-contact. Her reasoning was that the son was too young to be a father and deserved to live the life he wanted.

Don't rely too much on getting compliments from men! If you've been reading here for a while, you know that dick (and male attention in general) is abundant and low value. It might make you feel good in a short term, but your sense of self-worth should not depend on male compliments. Instead focus on your studies, hobbies and things that make you happy because it's more rewarding in the long run. Maybe later try to widen your social circles and have more female friends and role models.

I've recently grown more distant to two of my closest friends. Part of it is due to covid-19, but they both opened about their bad relationships in the spring and I gave them link to the handbook. I thought they were ready for it, because I had sensed the troubles years ago. Well, now they are avoiding me instead. Before that they both claimed to have had a really good talk with their spouses, which apparently solved all the problems. It's hard to let go, because it also hurts my pride that they…

Does anyone here follow Bianca Ingrosso and her constant drama with that nvm boyfriend of hers? I just feel so bad for her and the thousands of young girls who seem to think their relationship is normal and even "goalz". It's not the editing that makes the boyfriend look bad, it's just showing his true colours that she is too blind to see. Even worse are the comments that side with the boyfriend and paint Bianca as difficult, jealous and greedy. With more than 1 million followers, I just hope sh…
