You should only do coffee/drinks. This allows you both to do a quick assessment and bail if there isn't some attraction/things in common. When you plan elaborate long first dates it can seem way too long, especially if you guys are not into each other.

Legends remain single. Boys get married. Marriage is heavily one sided for women. My friends that I grew up with? I haven't seen them in 5 years. We communicate every now and then over texts, but their ENTIRE life revolves around the wife and their family. More often than not, they need permission from their wife to do anything. They seem miserable and often times tell me, don't get married unless you are really sure.

I can tell immediately when a woman is trying to manipulate me. Do you want to buy me a drink? No. What do you think of me? No. Can you take me for dinner here? No. I manipulate back 10x more effectively and many times she is left dazed and confused. This leads her to chase me more. Trust me. Men who have been manipulated as nice guys in the past are now masters of this game. I ghost regularly. Send mixed signals intentionally. Feign interest before she reveals her intentions.

You're not getting it. A man gets buried after marriage. He loses his friends, his identity, his freedom, his time, his inner peace. He is constantly subjected to gaslighting, enormous mood swings, and passive mental jabs that eventually destroy his self esteem. He just accepts his reality that he is stuck. There are very rare cases where the woman is stable, understanding, and has self awareness but these women might be unicorns.

That's not how it works. A woman will demand all your attention (she expects to be #1) and when a child comes into the equation it gets worse. I have friends who are afraid of their wives because she is controlling and they don't want to get scolded for having a little bit of fun. Bachelor party? Nope. Hang with the boys? What are you going to do at the bar? It's 11pm, where are you? It's the consistent nagging. The day in and day out grind. There's honestly nothing in it for guys at this point.

Because there's nothing in it for them. Most guys will lose their friends, their sex life, their money, and if all goes wrong their family. They don't want to enter into a legal contract with someone who could effectively take half their savings when the honeymoon period is over. Men aren't wimping out by staying unmarried or being commitment phobes. They're being smart. Unlike women, men lose all power after they say I do. Their masculinity dies too.

Congrats, but don't walk around angry, my dude. Live a little. Spend some money on yourself and the poor. Try to build up other skills and raise your revenue with another job. And remember, you can't take it with you. Save, Save, Save. And when you're ready unload your bank roll for a nice condo or townhome. Fully paid off. Then you will never pay rent again. I am 34, with a net worth of half-mil. Now I live a little. I have a great condo in the city. And don't chase women. Because I don't care.
