What helps me when I'm out alone is talking to random strangers like cashiers, security guards, or complimenting some random person on the street and making a quick conversation with them. This helps you build momentum and you'd actually feel more social & confident after talking to at least 2 random strangers. Once you feel pretty social after these interactions, it'll be less difficult for you to talk to a random girl. Try it out next time, it will help you.

That regret hits really hard man. I can totally relate with you. A rejection from the girl is way better than you rejecting yourself by not doing things you set your mind to. I need to work on this as well.

The trick is to not have any second thoughts. Just count to 3 and go for it. Once you start second guessing, you'll most likely start reasoning and convince yourself out of it.

Exactly. All my relationships happened only because the girl reciprocated well and she was equally interested. The girls who weren't into me as much from the start barely crossed the talking stage. I've realized that it's always better to spend time and energy getting to know women who reciprocate.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
