I don't get what about this is so difficult to grasp. If you are FORCED to fight in a war, you are not FREE. You are a slave. Imposing economic policy or law change on people that don't want it is bad enough. I will never vote for a candidate that supports conscription, but I still might be forced to fight, die and kill an enemy that I have nothing against personally.
