The issue at least for the vast majority of women I've encountered that have issues dating men, is that they will not pull their weight in regards to household work, childcare and emotional labour. It's not really money that's needed, it's something a lot more intangible that men have had a harder time really come around towards. The expectations surrounding women have utterly shifted. For example, it is considered desirable to be educated, necessary to be employed, and relatively self-sufficient.
