i just know he’s the type who’s always tweeting about his business mindset. the “lols” are passive aggressive and he already sounds condescending.

completely. i read it as her trying to convince herself that he’s miserable without her as she’s the only one who truly gets him 🙄

the ‘cool girl’ Hollywood trope tells women we’ll be rewarded if we doormat long enough. it’s sad to see her totally disregarding her own boundaries to be this guy’s emotional support animal.

sex! i thought i was doing it for myself because i was still super traumatized from a previous coercive relationship & thought that’s how fast relationships had to go. lived & learned.

you make your text sound like a question when you already know the answer. be more assertive

when you don’t think your presence is of any value you get angry at people who do & are willing to ask for it.

it’s so draining and unlikable. i’ve taken to calling them out when i notice it. a straight-faced “you know talking fast doesn’t make your point stronger, right?” or “if i wanted to debate like i’m in high school again i’d join a club, either we talk respectfully or i’m done with this conversation.” goes far for me.

also, i’m sure the reason she categorizes him as inquisitive and intelligent is because she doesn’t/no longer has strong friendships outside of him. he sounds like a ben shapiro-esque debate asshole who gets credit for intelligence when it’s really being an exhausting person.

literally. i just watched a tiktok of a girl screaming at a man in a subway train car to stop grabbing his dick and sexually harassing a woman who was also on the train. as soon as she said “sexually harassing” the guy goes “woah woah don’t use that word”. they hate accountability.

different? yes. less racist? impossible. 🤷🏾‍♀️

what....Britain is the grandfather of American racism & global white supremacy. there’s no way you can argue the colonial master of the world is less racist than one of its wayward children.

i completely agree. i was more speaking to wanting a “caring” child and that ensuring your child is a caring person is shouldn’t be an issue of gender.

that’s honestly embarrassing. he can’t just raise his son to be the same way?

Now that men identify this behavior in other men as ‘simping’, it’s a lot easier for me to weed out who I would and wouldn’t date. This behavior is what makes all my female friendships so rewarding, I’d be insane to date someone who doesn’t know how to emotionally invest and support me.

i don’t plan on ever giving birth because our medical system fails black women daily and even if i survive, post-birth depression (can’t remember the medical term for this) would kill me 🥺. if i’m with someone i trust completely & we decide we want children, i’ll strongly consider adopting one of the many children in this world who are already born and need a loving home.

hi, i'm also black. my first bf was black and he still was way too rough without us ever communicating about it. what i wish i'd known then is i deserved a conversation about boundaries/likes beforehand, and i should/can say no at any moment anything feels slightly off. finding someone who allows you total control is key, even if they're also black.

i disagree with this, a lot of porn involving black women tends to be rough/hard. yes, that exists for all races but there’s an absence of “soft” porn so rough is almost all there is.

this is so trash. my ex took me to a garden one time and i was wearing a dress and didn’t notice how badly i was being bitten so we went to cvs to pick up anti itch cream. he paid for all our dates but i felt uncomfortable asking for anything so i tried to get in line to pay for the cream, and he literally called out “what are you doing?!!” from across the store when he saw me lol miss that kid
