As a 6'2 woman. Yes. 100% true. Unfortunately my tolerance is super low w shorter men because they always make me (yes, me) feel embarrassed or ashamed about my height even though they are attracted to me (and me to them) If you are insecure, go to therapy, don't put that on women. Also don't fetizishe her unless she says she likes it. If a man says out of nowhere that he wants to climb me like a tree I am out. Also if he immediately assumed I'm dominant or if he wants me to pick him up (??) I a…

Why did she have to sacrifice college to show she likes him? If he really liked her then he would move for her, no?

Jesus, these answers make me sad. I (20F) moved away to another country for college and I am talking to this guy. I don't know what will happen but I keep talking to him because I enjoy it. I thought about the whole waste of time thing but that is overthinking it. We never know the day of tomorrow. If it feels good, keep talking and communicating openly. Maybe if things go well you can talk about a relationship but from what you said it is still to early in the game. Take it easy, adapting to co…

-I don't reject men based on height, before going out with them, I make sure I chat w them for a bit and that is the crucial moment. -certain signs of insecurity related to height are convincing/proving/explaining their own height to me (even though i dont mention it) ; complimenting my height intensively ; aggressively looking at my shoes or legs multiple times- On dating apps, I am less likely to swipe right on shorter men that do the things mentioned above + if they make weird comments about …

oh no worries, by now, I have found ways to filter insecure people. I am glad that you are not one of them, but they are not the exception, unfortunately. Secure people are the exception (in general, applying to every topic on here). It's also an interesting question of, taller than the partner or taller in general. A guy visibly shorter than me can be 185, meaning that he is considered tall worldwide. And it is in these cases that things get fucked up. It is understandable that they freak out, …

I am a 190 cm tall bisexual woman. Have been dating for 4 years, traveled a lot and lived in 3 diff European countries. I refuse to date short men because they make me feel terrible about myself. they are ashamed of me in public, they want me to hate my height. I hate generalizing, but I am tired of giving chances to a specific demographic of people and being disappointing even though they know what I have suffered with. It is just unreasonable to expect women to be tall like me, I don't know an…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
