Maybe just make friends IRL. Reddit is going to tend towards terminally online neckbeards. Which is fine, but not what you'd want for women advice.

This seems like a lot of words to say.... "Men fall in love with their eyes. Women fall in love with their ears. That's why women wear makeup and men lie" But, like makeup, the lies don't last. My friend has a girlfriend madly in love with him right now. The girlfriend doesn't know he's married with a kid though. (Also, 9 years older than he said and unemployed.) I am a little curious how it'll all end up...

I once had a really attractive woman sit next to me in first class (work trip... I don't have that kind of cash). I didn't say a word to her but she initiated, practically shoved her phone number down my throat, and said she'd show me around the city we were landing in. Later that night I texted her following up. Never got a response. Not certain, but this sounds vaguely similar. Sometimes women want to feel the validation. Know that men still want them, and that's enough. Again, not enough deta…

This will get down votes but fuckit I've got 15k or whatever karma. I've known, sadly, multiple women who wound up in abusive relationships. In around 25% cases it was legitimate bad luck / deception and I feel bad for them. In 75% of cases they were looking for bad boys. And whew buddy did they find it.

Yeah he's disabled all his socials for that reason. But this sounds like where my friends life is headed... But with the additional kicker that he has a kid. How did it work out for him? I honestly think the having a wife/kid is going to be the more difficult part for her to swallow, but I'm not a woman

Found a good woman and married her recently. Wish she was a little more physically beautiful, but aren't we always asking women to look beyond that in us? Good for the goose, good for the gander, I suppose. I'm not concerned about her divorcing me because she's a traditional woman. I am somewhat concerned about it devolving into a dry tedious marriage. But... Life's a gamble. I am glad to be done dealing with the type of American women you have to when still dating. That was, on occasion, very e…

A (married with a kid) friend told this girl he met at a bar that he was 23 instead of his real age 32. He also said he was single obviously. They've been dating for 3 years now. She still doesn't know his real name. What's that expression.... "you can't argue with results?".

Anybody that's so try-hard with a bunch of exotic cars you have to wonder about. Unless you're on a racetrack, it just takes you from point a to point b.

As someone who had to stand next to my friends sister after he commited suicide, I'd recommend not doing this. (I still remember the school brought in a grief counselor who basically told those of us who knew him "yeah people just kill themselves for attention, ultimately"... God, what an a-hole... Anyway) If you're skinny, there are already successful and thoroughly decent guys who will be willing to turn out the lights for sex, not to worry.

Without knowing your particulars... you can see ugly, but you can feel fat (not judging, I used be overweight myself, lost almost 70 pounds with dieting and living next to a gym) plastic surgery (cheaper in places like Korea and still safe enough) can fix a lot if it's an extreme case. Again, not judging, it's luck of the draw IMO with regards to finding significant others guys can hit a level of despair and loneliness that I really doubt women can. If you get some of the above 2 together there …

I imagine it's true in certain micro subcultures such as... - prison - biker gangs - low level / thuggish criminal outfits Outside of that, most people have confidence it their demonstrated abilities and reflect that in their actions. If they've been engineering for 15 years professionally and know good practices they can probably lead a group of less experienced guys effectively. It's not really being "alpha" though it's having a skill you've learned and practiced. Maybe some people BS for a wh…

Fair enough, I didn't consider time off work, that would suck. I just think reddit it wild sometimes - over on /r/realestate it's like "what you can't afford a $2.5 million house? Well soon it'll be $2.7M. Bitch" And then here it's "who can afford gas and time off to get a likely once-in-a-lifetime procedure?" Meanwhile I'm somewhere in the middle and so are most people I interact with. Shrug.

I'll play devils advocate here and get down voted to oblivion for it - - how hard is it actually to drive to a state where abortion is still legal? And before someone says "well you're rich so of course.." I have some pretty broke friends. They still manage to borrow an effed up car or motorcycle and drive 11 hours and visit their grandma in another state once a year. And I donno anyone who is going to be having abortions more often than every year or two. I can understand being pissed off about…

I'm gonna non-ironically go a step further here and say that if you have or can get some type of remote job, moving to Thailand or similar southeast Asian country will help with your finances. It won't help, like, psychologically or addiction wise, or avoiding diseases, however.

Not all advice that women give is bad IMO but there are a few consistent examples like "open up emotionally to a woman" that women recommend to guys that is almost always bad advice. Then some of the stuff like "be yourself" is ironic if the woman is caked in makeup to look like someone else As others have said, a lot of redpill advice from men to men is terrible too. In particular, I find it overly cynical or geared towards picking up the type of party girls that you'd be better off just stayin…

I'll take devils advocate on this one (counter to the existing comments thus far) David D'Angelo used to say that the reason you practice approaching and interacting with so many women is so that someday when it's really with "the one" you care about you don't fuck it up. Practice till it's engrained in who you are to be relaxed, funny, a good storyteller, whatever. It seemed like what David d (Elan Pagan or whatever) was teaching sometimes was how to not be as autistic when you're an introverte…

Do you mean worldwide? Because Albania effectively has neither and a higher rate of marriage. But it's going to always be an apple to oranges comparison with societal expectations in different countries.

Well I tried an interior design class at a local community College and the average age was 60, so I recommend not that FDS has a thread on where to meet high value men. https://www.reddit.com/r/FemaleDatingStrategy/comments/susnsn/ideas_on_where_to_meet_hvm/ So avoid those areas like the plague because you might run into FDS women. Safer to die alone.

I think this is the correct take (along with the person who said all men are always assumed to be aggressors in America). On Instagram, some guy does a backflip on a motorcycle and gets 700 likes. Some average looking chick stands next to a motorcycle for 5 seconds and tosses her hair and gets 40,000 likes. I honestly can't imagine what the feeling must like to get that type of validation on the internet. And I don't blame the girl we shouldn't have so many simps.

So what's the equivalent of a penguin or ostrich that can't fly but isn't caged? I'm trying to fully track with the metaphor.

Glad you mentioned this, this is actually the situation I find myself in. When I'm around a woman I like, my success rate is surprisingly high compared to most of my friends or guys I know. But I'm basically never around women these days. I work as an engineer with all men, do motocross on weekends with all men, hang out with friends who don't have a lot of women around, etc. Where I am around women these days, like at a bar or restaurant, it's a situation where I have no "social proof" or whate…

There's probably some truth to this, but at that level the rockstars/actors/whatever also have to worry about STD's, allegations by unstable individuals, people who gossip to the press about their encounter, intentional pregnancies (remember when the NBA told players to flush condoms town the toilet? Pepperidge Farm remembers) so they've got their own problems. It's an unequal world. Jeff Bezos makes more per hour than I do per year. No point being butthurt about it.

I donno, you decide that it would be better to just have all the cash and no commitments after watching the woman you loved turn cold against you. Probably forgetting the downsides of the bachelor lifestyle (loneliness, shallowness, etc) because you've been out of it so long

Current society has a lot more sympathy for women that shot themselves in the foot than men, that's for sure. What can ya do, the pendulum swings and it overcorrects and it swings back eventually

Potentially a grand if u thought he was real and a bro. Depends how much of your net worth that is (0.2%?) These women took out $100k liar loans for him, which I simply can't fathom for anyone who isn't my literal blood brother. And then he was literally showing the bs he was spending it on.

The people who had their life savings with Lehman Brothers in 2007 had agency as well. A closer analogy is Madoff. With Bernie Madoff a lot of his clients thought there was some scam going on (like insider trading) and there was, it was just on them. Here the implication was black market diamond smuggling I think.... Which is actually a far from victimless crime. My dad used to say "you can't cheat an honest man". Obviously it's not always true. Honest people have been cheated. But with a lot of…

Levieve was clearly an abomination of a human being and I feel for his victims, but I am also glad that Netflix showed in the early part of the movie how the women were pretty clearly drawn to his money. Similar to Bernie Madoff - a lot of his clients thought there was some scam going on (like insider trading) and there was, it was just on them. Here the implication was black market diamond smuggling I think.... Which is actually a far from victimless crime. Back to the TRP angle, there are guys…

There's a number of people asking where the stat is from - it's from the OKCupid blog which used to just not GAF about posting raw statistics on stuff. Then they got bought out my Match which owns nearly everything these days and went politically correct because it's better for business The original stuff is still on the Internet Wayback Machine, see 2009 and 2010 era https://web.archive.org/web/20090707120043/http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/2009/06/25/rape-fantasies-and-hygiene-by-state/

Fair enough - I think most guys on the redpill forums want to call themselves redpilled regardless of what they do. But the redpill community would also make fun of him for this (probably would call him a simp, say he played himself, etc) Here's an example https://www.reddit.com/r/FDSredpills/comments/q3xsrz/normal_people_will_be_willing_to_talk_and_get_to/

Judgment of all doctrines and individuals aside, the RP mantra is to go for coffee or something of trivial cost on the first date. There's no RP advice to blow $200 on a woman who hasn't yet done anything sexually. So... It actually sounds like he did the opposite of red pill.
