It doesn't bother me that he smokes a lot. It bothers me that he chose to buy weed instead of groceries when he's already underweight.

That's pretty accurate. I do want to have kids and get married soon. That's why I went with someone like him. I think he would be a great dad. Or at least I thought so. I try to be logical about things. And I thought I could make him into a better man. But it's been over a year.

His niceness is what attracted me to him. He's so kind to me. We share a lot of similar interests. Plus, he's gorgeous. I really don't think I could do better.

Erm, do you think I'm in this for attention? Or validation from...women? I just needed to rant about this and I thought this community would be less hostile. If I've broken a rule, please let me know.

Well to discuss those 3 points: No way the kid is his. The girl is relatively new to the area, and she had her kid while living very far away. Plus the guy kind of has some weird situation with his kids already. He was married before and had 3 kids with his first wife, but he doesn't know if the first kid is his. But he still claims it and pays child support on. Pretty fucked up situation. It's possible. He's told me before he stayed with a girl because he liked hanging out with her kid more tha…

Not a troll, but can't prove it. And maybe I am looking for validation on the tattoo thing, because it's confusing. To read on Roosh and ROK that tattoos take away the attractiveness of a woman, and then to have so many male acquaintances drool over Suicide girls.

I know he wasn't for me. But still in the back of my head, all I can think of is that there has to be something wrong with me. There has to be some obvious way in which I'm not as good as her that I'm not seeing. I even asked him to explain, but he refused. I may end up posting this in a different post.

Well, I'm not sure if I use the terminology correctly yet. I hear guys here and other places say things about beta men that they perceive as negative. That they are too loyal to one woman, they are too sweet romantic, they get "oneitis". I see those things a positive. I want a relationship with one guy who is sweet. I want someone who is loyal and doesn't feel the need to "spin plates". And yes, I've been attracted to the guys who are "alpha". There's no denying some of that stuff works. But I c…

I'd like a long term relationship with him.

Thanks for that. I'm learning a lot by reading TRP, I hope to keep learning. :)

Come on man. I've been respectful to everyone here, and have gotten great responses. Don't be the stereotypical RP guy.

Just curiosity of what a beta in love thinks. I see a lot of the opposite here, and there's not really an ask beta subreddit.

No. I'm using TRP terminology, but I'm not really going by it. I just want a nice guy who will stay loyal to me. I try to be logical about certain things. This dude is awesome. He's really smart. He's extremely funny, has me doubled over in laughter most nights. I find his features and body type extremely appealing. I don't want to give that up for a man who is just using me for sex. Any encounter I have with a guy who has "game" is just going leave me unfulfilled in the end. I mean, good on you…

That is true, he lets friend and coworkers walk all over him. I'd like to help him build his confidence up, and I thought that regular sex would help him do that.

Isn't it a little too soon to tell? There's definitely infatuation and attachment, but I was taught that these things aren't love.

What if I don't break up with him? What if I stay loyal and love him back?

That's a great reply! My default answer is to always go with facial hair. I find it extremely attractive. I agree with it being a bit "aging". And that can be a good thing! But if it doesn't grow in right or looks weird, don't force it. We all have to work with what we're given. There's certain fashion trends I'd love to be a part of, but I simply don't have the body shape for it. I've never heard of a woman saying a man was "trustworthy looking" and that's why she wanted to sleep with/date him.…

Not gonna lie, the "cuddle partner" line was kind of off putting. Along with they smileys. I just see smileys as a predominately feminine thing.

This is just information. You can choose to believe it, or not. You can choose to apply it, or not. You seem very young. So far casually browsing this subreddit, I don't see anything you enjoy as being "ruled out". You can certainly have one person...you will just realize that there isn't just one person out there. You can be nice, but understand when you're being used or too nice to an undeserving person. And as far as being equals...from a woman's perspective...I'm not convinced genders are wh…

Heath Ledger didn't die from anti depressants. According to toxicology studies, he had opiates and benzodiazepines in his blood.

What about wanting to minimize exposure to STD's? Condoms don't protect against everything. Sometimes monogamy seems practical.

Honest question as a woman reading this sub: You say you value her for not pushing exclusivity and you like the freedom of getting "strange" on the side. But what is a woman to do if she's willing to please a man like this but wants monogamy in return? Is that too much to ask? Would that bring her worth down to you?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
