There was never a more "heroic" reason they were being sent out to war. Don't act like it's not all about minority interest and that in "the good ol days" the troops actually had more ethical puppeteers

It's not as if the perceived loss of meaning isn't depressing, it's the equating of Nihilism as a side effect of depression. A person who is by definition a Nihilist would have to legitimately believe these things I outlined previously, and so to feel depression towards a loss of something they don't believe exists is nonsensical and contradictory. Like, being sad that your imaginary friend from pre-school isn't real. Or The Tooth Fairy. Are you going to fall into a clinically depressed state? T…

Once again you are forgetting that you said "most people" work harder than Gisele. And when I ask what you do it wasn't a setup against you, it was for you to reflect on whether or not you're accredited to even make such a statement. I mean you have yet to make a viable comparison as to these mass amounts of people working harder than Gisele. Let's look at where your position falls: -Only hard part about being a model is that so many people want to be models -Low barrier of entry -No hard work. …

It's not a statement of incredulity, and cramming isn't an issue of "must be a hard exam!". Cramming is lack of discipline and planning, and is proven to not be an effective form of retaining knowledge (so in the end, absolutely useless except for helping you get a piece of paper). If it's so easy to make it like Gisele, why haven't you? Why haven't all the other models, especially the ones who are arguably more attractive? I also love the discrediting of the model industry. You honestly believe…

Did you really just come up with all of that in your head and then spout it as fact? edit: the disagreement is hilarious as if i am not factually correct. ive been in the industry, and even if i hadnt the model selection isnt based around whether or not they are "hot" and someone who is attractive might get turned away

I place sustainability and a healthy environment above any sort of arbitrarily contrived economic issue that comes with it. I can't sit here and defend a system that relies on an ever-increasing population to keep itself going. Do I want to overpopulate the planet or do I want an economic and social collapse? Neither. I think this tends to be the problem today. We don't think of an alternative, we think within the system and don't deny it's practicality. If you believe the old have a right to re…

So they "drain resources from the government" and yet we need young people to help them drain more for longer? This is also a great way to exacerbate the problem. "Too many old people, not enough young. Let's make more young so that in 50 years the young are the old and need even more young to support them, etc." But let's throw the book at women and go back to the 50s. We need a second round of baby boomers right? Cuz that all has been going so well? I'm amazed that every single point and examp…

How the fuck are low birth rates a problem at all

Long term solution to? Keeping our birth rates at an unsustainable level? We need to make sure birth rates stay high because? White people need to continue as a race when it's the filthy immigrants doing the work we won't do due to entitlement?

Oh no the white race is dying out! Are we really saying declining birth rates are an issue? Good job to feminism for inadvertently helping overpopulation, pollution, etc.

In this instance, it is not that "others might want to know more about you and hang out with you". They are strangers, and do know nothing about me other than my appearance. I don't think it is a display of entitlement to want to mind my own business, and I'm not a narcissist for not wanting to talk about the weather 12 times a day.

It's probably better than everyone thinking you're ugly, and I'm not offering pity. I'm just saying we cannot say this person is displaying entitlement just because its a woman. I'm a man, and I'm busy, I don't want bs conversation either.

I am neither of those things, stop projecting. You're really telling me, "weather today" type conversations are awesome and you couldnt live without them? You're also just incoherently rambling at this point. "If you have people offering you jobs left and right". Nobody said that. You're just saying "getting hit on a lot is like having a lot of job offers" and its a stupid relation. I don't need to get hit on to make money and put food on the table. And yes, I most certainly am too good for a mi…

Jesus it's not about being entitled. Why the fuck should she have to be greatful for being hit on by ugly guys or at all? Because a man hitting on means he deserves your resoect! And we're forgetting the way most men hit on women, it's god awful and worthy of pity, I don't want them bothering me.

You're saying they must be greatful for being attractive? You're the embodiment of the circlejerk aspect of this sub. I don't like cashiers who are too chatty. I don't like people trying to talk to me because God forbid a silence exist at a bus stop. It would definitely be very annoying to have people thinking they deserve my attention and respect based only on the fact that they find me attractive.

Are you fucking kidding me? This woman isn't allowed to be annoyed by compliments/people trying to hit on her? I hate most conversation the general person is going to offer, and I hate people I don't know trying to talk to me for no reason about completely irrelevant shit. And a minimum wage job offer isn't really a job offer, anyone with enough time for an interview can get one, and it's not a livable wage.

Source? I mean a man with children most likely works and his wife would be with the kids. That means the wife is buying groceries, school supplies, their clothes, household items, etc. This almost seems as faulty as the wage gap statistic, in that the way you are using it doesn't account for the reasoning behind it. You're acting like women are presupposed to just spending in a way that isn't relatable to men.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
