In what way was it made by women? The men are the ones being slutty. There’s nothing wrong with being picky about who you choose to sleep with, men should get higher standards.

Maybe men should stop being such whores, then it wouldn’t be so easy for women. Men love complaining about problems they make I don’t care how hard it is, I don’t think that it should change the value of a person in society depending on their gender.

This is why I can’t feel bad for the lonely virgins on this sub. Yes, when you view women as something to be conquered sexually and men the conquerors, rather than it being an act that involves two people doing something they enjoy, then it’s a good thing you’re depressed and lonely.

Depends. I never really projected myself onto any character while watching Breaking Bad, I had no desire to be like any of the characters. If Walter wasn’t so easy to hate that might have been different. I absolutely think gunfights and explosions and stuff are fun. I don’t imagine myself in them, I just think they’re cool to watch. I don’t imagine myself in intense scenarios, like battles or becoming powerful. I think my most “masculine” fantasy when it comes to movies is that scene from Jeremi…

Bad wording on my part, I’ll use the English is my second language card here lmao. What I was trying to get at is that comparing war and rape is like comparing bombing and war. It’s an aspect of war. You can obviously have rape without war, but you’ll have trouble finding a war without rape. I was mostly just arguing with the idea of the person I replied to, that war and rape are these entirely separate things that don’t overlap incredibly frequently, and that the only aspect or victims of war i…

As a woman, obviously knowing that is horrifying. Still don’t want women to be forced into a mandatory draft, just don’t think men should be either. I’m not sure what men upset about this want me to do about it lmao. I don’t think anyone should be forced to risk their lives for the sake of some random dudes having childish disputes who are willing to sacrifice human life over it.

The only real issue with this in my eyes is if they’re happy for men to go to war, or don’t disagree with the mandatory draft for men. I don’t agree with drafting for anyone. My way to protest this obviously isn’t going to be signing up myself, it’s advocating for no one to. It’s perfectly fine for me to not want to fight in a war myself, because I also don’t want for men to have to fight in wars they don’t want to. I want equality and a privileged life for everyone.

When you imagine being raped, you imagine a woman you want to have sex with you. You don’t imagine a man with significant physical power over you, who is entirely willing and ready to hurt you, completely forcing all autonomy away from you to the point you want to throw up and would rather die than have it continue any longer. To be clear, I’m not saying that war isn’t worse. It’s obviously a horrifying thing. But they’re impossibly weird things to compare, and rape IS war. It’s a result of war,…

It’s funny and I’m frequently bored. Getting into arguments is fun and this sub seems to be a collection of people who take internet fights incredibly seriously, even for a debate sub.

Yeah, that’s fine. I’ve just never had good experiences with someone who’s expressed an Asian preference, and I wouldn’t want to date them.

As an Asian woman, nope. I’ll generally avoid men with Asian preferences. It’s incredibly uncomfortable to me.

It’s reasonable to insist that women don’t enjoy masculine hobbies? That just screams insecure to me.

As a bi woman, I definitely find women more aesthetically pleasing. I notice women for their attractiveness much more frequently in public, even if they’re not my type, and I think it helps that women generally put more day to day care into their appearances. The most aesthetically pleasing men to me are the ones with softer and more feminine features. While I’m attracted to men with a fairly wide variety of body types, I think women are overall better at looking really pleasing from skinny to m…

Of course looks matter. People aren’t going to want to go for someone particularly ugly if they have more attractive options, regardless of gender. Still, there are huge amounts of less attractive men who are in relationships. But getting angry and resentful and letting it overtake your personality sure won’t help. An ugly man with a good personality might not have better chances than an attractive man with an average personality, but he’ll certainly have better chances than an ugly man with a s…

You haven’t really addressed any of my points. I mean this really genuinely, I think you’d benefit from therapy. Having a professional help you reflect on your feelings and issues can be pretty useful. Mothers in that situation tend to be damned either way. Clean up after your home and have your kid resent you for the time it takes, or don’t clean up after your home and be resented for raising your kid in a messy house. The father rarely catches blame either way, because mothers are judged much …

Of course there’s a lot more people that way than we originally thought. For significant amounts of history it has been illegal or otherwise incredibly dangerous to be trans. It’s not easy to get a good estimate of a population who have been forced into hiding. Even then, the figure is still less than one percent. You’re weirdly obsessed with trans people. No one would want to be trans. Transitioning is a decision typically made when one has no other options and cannot live with their gender dys…

You can’t juggle that, so you want women to? Sounds like you don’t want a wife, just another mommy. Women expected to juggle house shit and a job all the time. If a woman behaved like a man after getting home from work instead of caring for her kids and the home, she’d be called a horrible mother. If a woman never did any house chores without being asked like men do, she’d be a horrible wife. How is it wanting control to want equal effort in the relationship? If both partners are working, both p…

Of course. I’ll give men from the majority of human history the pass on that. But in the majority of modern western relationships, women are working 9-5s and providing money as well, and they’re still more likely to do the majority of childcare and household chores. Women DO work too, it’s not a when thing, and they’re still maintaining bonds significantly better than men. Just look at the past few decades.

Every wife, mother, and grandmother has an equivalent husband, father, and grandfather. Women are just valued more in those roles because they put more time and effort into them. Social networking takes effort. You’re acting like all these things aren’t a result of woman’s actions.

I mean, I’m sure that there are people who think that. But I’m personally a big supporter of breaking up with people as soon as possible if you think staying with them isn’t going to be a possibility. Obviously pre engagement is the best time to do this, but the second best time is whenever you realize you fucked up. I do think it’s very irresponsible to get engaged without thinking things through, but holding on after that just for sunk cost or whatever the hell is even more irresponsible and c…

I don’t know what the fuck you’re going on about in the first half of the comment. You acted like I was responsible for the sentiments of every single women in this sub, so I corrected you. And then you get mad at me because of.. sentiments shared by completely separate women within this sub? I’m so confused. There’s a power imbalance in age gaps. He doesn’t have to be disgusted by the 5 to still chose the 7 over her, which he’ll do any day. Even if he’s into a 5, he’ll still go for the more attractive one. That’s just normal behaviour. I’m confused as to what’s the issue with the woman only wanting the 7. Either she gets rejected because her standards are too high, in which case she can lower them or go without, or she doesn’t get rejected, in which case it seems like her standards are perfectly fine. If your standards get you the amount…

If a man has a 5 and a 7 both going after him, he’s going to fuck the 7 every time. You’re delusional if you don’t believe this is the case. It’s possible because men are more desperate.

This has always been my opinion. I do think it’s more nuanced, but believe it or not, I am not every woman on this sub. I know it’s tough to believe, but it’s almost like we’re all complex individuals who don’t hold the same opinions on every single thing. I’ve got my critiques on porn, and I won’t watch it because the industry disgusts me, but I don’t think it’s inherently evil in any way. And if you’re acting out something as extreme as this fantasy, it’s on both parties to go to lengths to en…

If men had as much access to attractive women as women do to attractive men, they wouldn’t be fucking 5s. It’s not just lower standards, it’s more limited opportunity. Which is all fine, until men start blaming women for having the standards that they would also have if they had women’s opportunity. (Also, I’d fuck an average 4-6 man no problem? I’m an average woman, I’m into average men. Idk how this scales to all women, but it’s not like plenty of us aren’t still entirely into 5s.)

The majority of posters are women, but are the majority of viewers/commenters? Isn’t that obvious though? Do any men fantasize about average looking women with average bodies? Everyone fantasizes about fucking people they’re attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 08:10 PM

Not necessarily. That movie was specifically targeted and marketed towards women and made to appeal to the way women usually experience those fantasies (women with rape fantasies are going to be a lot more likely to enjoy the idea of their rapist falling in love with them, where a man with a rape fantasies probably isn’t going to be into the idea of falling in love with his victim). Also that movie was dogshit.

There is a huge difference between coping by imagining something happening to you with a different structure and more control than it happened in reality, and coping by imagining hurting someone. This goes either way, regardless of gender. If a guy likes roughness in sex because it’s fun and he enjoys it, cool, whatever, make sure the other party is cool with it too. If he likes roughness in sex because he’s taking out his anger on other women and how upset he is about not getting sex whenever h…

There’s this phenomenon where two different women can hold different opinions and views on the world. It’s pretty fascinating. Also, both can coexist. You can enjoy makeup and be bothered that it’s so societally enforced and dislike that it’s so expected of you. I don’t know about NA or Europe, but when I lived in Asia my job was threatened if I didn’t wear makeup. It’s not always a choice. I know that the expectation is societally enforced in a lot of other places as well, women, especially in …

I have tons of men in my Reddit DMs, sure, because they went caveman over just learning I was a woman or have a rape fetish. Elsewhere, on apps with less desperate men and a more normal gender ratio, I really just don’t. Obviously he would say no? Of my Reddit dms the most recent are: Four men asking me to detail my rape experiences, one describing how he’d fuck me if he were my brother. One man who sent a dick pic just because he noticed my display name was Sophia. One dude who’s an actual doctor, so I guess probably up there in salary, but nothing at all suggestive, just advice because I posted a medical question. We really don’t? I’m relatively plain and average for an Asian woman, and get absolutely nothing of the sort. None of the women I talk to, who tend to be average-sort of pretty, get stuff like that either. I’m sure there are decent enough chances if you live in a city with a lot of rich people, but it’s not the standard lol.

It absolutely fucking is real lmao. If you told any woman this exact comment in real life, not only would she think you’re creepy, but also unbearably lame. This is the most cringe thing I’ve ever read.

If your standards work out for you, they’re not too high. If you’re a 4 who consistently pulls 7s, and then don’t date anyone under a 7, your standards aren’t too high. The only reason anyone should have to lower their standards is if it’s not working out for them.

Definitely not always seen as quirky and cute. I’ve never dated anyone, but with any potential friends, the appeal of any quirkiness I have seems to always wear off after a couple days. Being confused a lot and needing guidance might be appealing to some guys, but once other traits start presenting I think most will be pretty annoyed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 04:43 AM

This applies to literally just everyone. People overall, regardless of gender, are a lot more childish than you’d expect. I’ve met plenty of men who whine when you expect them to identify and clean their own messes without being asked, who throw tantrums when their favourite sports teams don’t win, who freak out about video games. I’ve lived with plenty of men, and none of them could take care of their own space properly. I’ve also lived with women who were whiny and stole all my shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 05:17 AM

Wow, when half the population is restricted from certain careers for millennia, they are less represented in those careers, especially historically. What a shocking revelation. That says nothing about women as individuals.

I don’t think men have it easy by any means, but I definitely think that they have many privileges and advantages they don’t even realize they have, because they’ve never been denied them for their gender. I think women experience the same though, a lot of advantages we don’t notice because we can’t imagine any different.

I’m Japanese, and Japan definitely depends on where you go. In general it’s going to be easier for white guys than Japanese, but those relationships often aren’t seen as lasting- foreigners aren’t really considered someone to settle down with, most relationships foreigner/Japanese I saw there when I was young were more for bragging rights than anything. If you’re somewhere too populated the novelty is a lot less, and in rural areas people are more traditional and wary of foreigners.

I love being able to form meaningful platonic relationships with women relatively easily. I love sitting with my female relatives, discussing things we’d never talk about with the men in our family around. I love other women in general, and whenever I hear some men talking about how sexually they view women I’m so glad I don’t feel that way because I love being around women without any of that. For me personally, there’s nothing specific I’m super into, just that he lacks any major features I dislike, mostly. I don’t have too many preferences on body, but anything more muscled than Shatner’s Kirk in Star Trek is too intimidating, and I probably wouldn’t be willing to go too much fatter then like, Jack Black in School of Rock. Biggest thing is that he approches me and makes it clear that he’s interested in me, not for any beliefs that men need to make the first move, but because I’m too…

Trans people don’t believe they chose to be a woman one day, they believe they were one, the choice is in whether or not you openly identify/come out as/transition to a woman. The same concept would apply to a gay person, where their attraction always exists, but the choice is in how you act on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 03:22 AM

Haha, what? If I had the choice right now, I’d rather have a platonic friend than a romantic/sexual relationship. Companionship without any sexual requirements or romantic affection sounds like heaven to me.

I like men just fine, but it’s made me close off a lot quicker to men I meet who say a lot of the stuff I’ve heard in these places. I’m a lot less willing to give individuals who are saying uncomfortable things a chance. It’s also reinforced a lot of my nihilism in the world as a whole, as a constant reminder of “holy shit there are guys that actually think this way”, but I do my best to surround myself with great people and to be good myself to counteract that as much as possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/23 10:13 PM

I wouldn’t classify my parents as a passport bro and his wife, but they definitely did have a lot of similarities, mostly because my dad’s motivation for seeking out my mother was his desire for an exotic, submissive, and desperate wife. Unlike the Passport Bro situation she was from a very privileged and modern country, but on an individual level she was poor and very desperate to escape her home. No. I like men! I think they’re cool! But yeah, it’s scary as fuck to have someone who weighs twice as much as you approach you and express that they’re attracted to you, and all you can think about is that time when a guy threatened to rape you for rejecting him. If something bad happens to you, it’s in human nature to avoid that thing happening again.

It’s insane that people think we feel this way just due to “media brainwashing”. I’ve been followed around and harassed by men twice my size since I was 9 years old. I’m 5’0 and not even 100 pounds. Yeah, that’s what I just said. I like the idea of sex. That’s still a sex drive. I’m just not into it in actuality, because I don’t like touching people or being naked or fluids or anything else that comes with sex. I’m still into the idea of fucking a girl or a guy, I just fantasize about it in a world without anything that grosses me out. An idealized version of sex is still sex.

Bro are you dumb? I’m horny because I want to have sex. I masturbate. Maybe you masturbate for different reasons, idfk, but that’s my personal reason. I don’t consider myself a nymphomaniac, I’m just horny and I like the idea of sex, but I don’t want actual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/22 01:10 AM

Yes, but no one here has denied averages? I originally was replying to someone who claimed that one woman who was well above the average for women could not come even close to the average for men. This is literally about individual cases. I understand that the average for women is lower. My claim is that that doesn’t mean that individual women can’t still have higher sex drives than the average man.

Jerking off doesn’t inherently equal a desire to have sex, but it does in my case. That’s where it sources from.

Jerking off is still sourced from my desire to have sex lmao? I was horny all the time. That’s the reason why I masturbate so much. It’s still a sex drive regardless of whether you’ve had sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 11:39 PM

Bro. Like I said, men do have higher sex drives. My point is that it isn’t insane to imagine that one woman could be abnormal for her gender and fall above the average sex drive for men too 💀 I’d say that I have a higher sex drive than the average man. I’d also say that my sex drive isn’t very common in women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 10:43 PM

Yeah, I’m aware. My point is that some women can be outside the norm, and fall above the norm for men too.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 10:41 PM

I’m well aware that men have a higher sex drive. I’m not denying that. I’m just saying that it’s more than possible for a woman to have a higher sex drive than the average man, even if it’s not super common. We have testosterone too, believe it or not.

Lmao, I still use lotion, but that doesn’t completely negate the pressure of rubbing, and not to be tmi or anything, but I have to limit the amount I use or it gets difficult to maintain any amount of pleasure.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 09:51 PM
2

Yeah, obviously your libido is going to be higher when you’re working out. If your friend group was also working out, then it makes sense that you’re all going to be above average. I was more referring to the fact that I’m rubbing, not stroking, which irritates the skin more, and I’m using my fingers, not my arm, which tire out quicker.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 09:47 PM

I mean, unlikely, but not surprising by any means. It’s also unlikely for a person to have their birthday on the same day as mine, but I’m not going to immediately react to someone mentioning that birthday with immediate distrust and claim that it’s not true.

Bro 💀 that is not the average man. Get help. Anyways, as I originally mentioned, the only reason I’d stop at six is because it got physically sore. I’d assume that it’s easier to go longer with a dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 09:37 PM
5

I masturbate a lot because I’m horny all the time and like the idea of sex 💀 how is that not a high sex drive. The fact that I used to take half an hour out of my day to get off six times a day does mean that I had a high sex drive. Yeah man, being able to control yourself from having sex all the time isn’t notable or special, regardless of how high your sex drive is.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 09:21 PM
6

I’ve been warned lmao. I don’t mind haha, I prefer my own hand to men anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 09:15 PM
7

The average man does not masturbate six times a day. Just because I choose not to have sex (lots of assumptions there, lmao), doesn’t mean that I don’t have a sex drive, it just means that I have self control.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 09:07 PM
14

Why do so many men find it impossible to think that even just one woman might have a decent sex drive. I’m a virgin, so I can’t speak on how much I’ve had sex, but I used to (before I got on meds that reduced my sex drive) masturbate like 6 times a day- the only reason I didn’t go more was because it got physically sore. I wouldn’t consider that “no where near the average man’s sex drive”.
