I don't believe in forcing others to believe the way I do. I can be upset about the state of our society and still acknowledge that people have the right to be degenerate wackos. I am fortunate to have the freedom to choose a home near others with similar values. It's just saddening that every form of media is pushing the same agenda. I'm just glad to live where I live and my trips to the city are infrequent enough to be tolerable.

Totalitarianism suggests that the government controls what is and isn't allowed. Why would you think that I want the government to be involved in the regulation of individual behavior? I don't believe I've said anything suggesting that.

I told her that I didn't know but that it was impolite to point. I just hate how society is changing. The nuclear family is dead and people everywhere are losing their fucking minds. There are TV shows and YouTube channels of dudes in dresses and makeup getting millions of views. Society would be better off if we still valued decency and sanity instead of inclusiveness to the point where we quite literally advocate for the normalization of mental illness in children.

Normalizing degenerate shit like cross dressing and dosing yourself with hormones has a negative impact on society as a whole. It's impossible to walk around the market in Seattle with my 4 year old daughter without seeing dozens of these weirdos. "Daddy, is that a boy or a girl?" How the fuck am I supposed to answer that? Edit: a word

Sure, although modern liberalism =/= classical liberalism. Modern liberals aren't interested in liberty unless it's beneficial to them or it helps reinforce their views.

Confidence and dominance is more important as long as you're not abnormally unattractive.

I think going to the gym is how I remained sane throughout undergrad. Lifting heavy stuff helped take my mind off of the constant stress or competing with prissy pre-meds.

I worked out 4x a week while taking 21 college credits (STEM), working 40 hours, taking care of a child, and dealing with numerous extracurriculars. It's a matter of priorities. Now I'm in medical school killing myself, but I still work out 3-4x a week.

I'd personally worry primarily about purchasing well-fitting clothes. Brand name is honestly a secondary concern. It's also important to dress for your environment. You don't want to wear a suit when everyone else is wearing jeans and t-shirts. You're automatically dressed better than 80% of American men if your clothes actually fit you.

Thanks man. Honestly, I am beginning to see this as a positive. I was consciously thinking about how to replace her once I get my MD. She's not inherently unintelligent, but it would be nice to have a partner with similar interests. I'm a bit of a science nerd. My wife has zero interest in anything academic or scientific. Maybe I can use this as an opportunity to upgrade in the near future.

Thank you for this post. I realize that I definitely played a part in her unhappiness, although that definitely does not excuse her actions. I wish we would have had the opportunity to fix this before we got to where we are now. However, I absolutely will not try to fix it now. I will remain civil for the sake of our child but I can't stay with a person if there is no trust between us. I am a naturally unforgiving person. It's just who I am. Your advice is definitely relevant for the future. I s…

I wasn't seriously considering counseling, haha. I'm not going to spend the rest of my life pretending to love someone who doesn't respect me enough not to spread her legs for some random dude. I just wanted to see if she was done with the relationship and get her to admit to cheating on tape.

No... all women are like that. Even your classy Princeton educated princess. AWALT is kind of the point of this post.

She wasn't solo. She went with friends. In hindsight, I should have objected. Her friend recently broke up with her LTR and the resulting shit talk that ensued most likely made my wife feel like I was a piece of shit, unworthy of her loyalty.

She said I've been inattentive. No shit... I'm fucking exhausted and stressed. I'm doing the work of 3 people and it's killing me. I thought she was understanding. Nope, she didn't tell me how she felt.

Alright so here an update. I spoke with the she-devil to try to gauge her mental state and potential plans. I floated the idea of counseling to gauge her interest in continuing the relationship. She stated that she needs to be independent. Great, so she wants to hop on the CC until she hits the wall. Good for her. She wants us to remain civil for our daughter's sake. Cool, I can do that. I definitely made a mistake by letting her go out with her friends that night. I should have realized that it…

My criteria for a mate may differ from yours. I wanted a house wife. She's not dumb... she just wanted to be a mom.

I don't know. Although I'm certain she's mine. I'd probably feel equally attached. I was raised by my step dad. My mother was not in my life at all for the longest time. I don't think blood is the only factor in fatherhood.

I'm realizing my mistake clearly now. I expected my wife to be able to forego impulsive decisions and to rationally analyze our situation. I've never trusted women. I've known that they are soul crushing succubi with limited capacity for rational thought. Wife: "My husband is always busy... I'm so fucking sad, boohoo." How I imagined my wife's thoughts: "Man, my husband works really hard. He sure loves his family. Sure, he's distant at times due to his schedule, but it's going to be better in th…

We have been married for 5 years. I don't have much money since I've been a student for so long. I actually start med school soon, so I'll be jobless for the next 4 years. I'm really just dumbfounded at the moment.

I'm just astounded that at the lack of forethought. She knew with 100% certainty that I would divorce her in an instant if she cheated. She knew I was willing to provide for her and our child if she kept up her end of the bargain. Now what the fuck is she going to do with her life? She has no job skills, zero ambition, and she's rapidly approaching the wall. The mind of a woman is a bizarre thing. I'll pull through this and continue with my life. I just feel horrible for my daughter. Having divo…

I want to... but I don't know what to do about my daughter. I can't imagine her being outside of my home. Fuck this sucks. My soon-to-be-ex has a number of flaws, but I never expected disloyalty to be one of those. I was 100% loyal throughout the years. I never expected her to throw it all away over something so stupid.

I'm going to consult with all of the top divorce attorneys in town. I'm done with the woman, but I feel horrible for my daughter. I never imagined raising her outside of a traditional nuclear family. Mind...blown... fucking women.

Damn man. You don't have to be in production mode 24/7. Playing a game of CS every so often isn't going to harm you. There is value in wind-down time. Some people watch Netflix or go to the movies. I personally play the occasional video game. You probably shouldn't spend 20+ hours/week playing games, but there's no harm in spending a few hours gaming every couple of weeks.

I know what you mean. People get freaked out when men talk to their kids. Never mind the fact that most abused children knew their abusers. The media has everyone afraid.

"Look at this creep removing this child's diaper. What a perv." People are weird. I'm honestly concerned about showing my daughter affection when we are out in public alone. I'm worried people will think I stole her or something.

Yeah, it kind of makes sense now. I also spent some of my childhood years with my psycho mother. I couldn't imagine who I'd be if she didn't drop me off with my step family and leave the state. Sounds like an awful thing for a mother to do but I'm glad she did it.

Yeah, I was primarily raised by my conservative step-grandparents. They were both very conservative and obviously embraced traditional gender roles. My grandfather pretty much set the example for me. Respect your spouse and expect respect in return. Oh, and don't put up with any shit.

I guess. I have trouble understanding the thought process of BPers. I've honestly had a RP mentality since high school without realizing it. I think the RP mentality is actually somewhat common in the southern states. Respect, stoicism, and other RP traits are admirable in southern culture. Men are expected to have those traits. We both believe the nuclear family is valuable even though we aren't religious. That might be the main conflicting viewpoint I have with most RPers. I personally wanted …

These 3 different parts of the cerebellum often operate together, but sometimes exclusively. The cerebellum is the "small brain" which sits inferior to the occipital/temporal lobes and posterior to the pons. I think you meant cerebrum.

Ha, yeah. We've been together for 8 years without any issues at all. I'm honestly not concerned about infidelity. I know, I know AWALT; however, I believe it's the exception that proves the rule. It's probably best to just disregard my story and continue believing that AWALT. The vast majority of them truly are like that.

I mean... I'm an attractive dude who hasn't had to deal with rejection. (6'3", fit, articulate, etc.) The shit you just described seems almost magical. I just don't see how the dance club thing could ever happen. I've done some crazy shit in my day, but your story blows my mind. I guess it could happen.

I'm married and have a child. I'd throw my wife out in 2 seconds flat if she cheated and she knows it. I think it's important to let your SO know that you won't put up with disrespect or infidelity. You have to respond to their shit tests properly and let them know you can live without them if you are put in that position.

Vasalgel functions like a vasectomy without the actual ectomy. I didn't read your link, but I'd assume the risks are similar for Vasalgel as well.

I did a bit of digging on the amcas site. I see that there is a significant difference between the mean stats of white and black matriculants, but it's honestly not as big as I thought. (Basically a B+/50th percentile mcat for blacks and an A-/75th percentile for whites) I honestly think the race-changer guy is lying about getting an interview with Harvard. There are enough URM applicants with high stats to choose from. The stats actually show that a higher percentage of white applicants actuall…

The Indian-American claims he soon found himself interviewing at both Harvard and Columbia, and was put on waiting lists at other reputable schools. 3.1 and 31 mcat. 3.1 gpa is incredibly low, and a 31 mcat is average for low tier schools. Harvard's average matriculant has a ~3.8 gpa and a ~38 mcat last I checked. I have a 4.0 and a 38, but I'm going to have to retake the new 2015 mcat since I'm taking a year off to build up my ECs. I doubt I'll get interviewed at top schools, even though I grew…

It sounds like she was actually arrested for making negative comments about the police. In a one-on-one interview with reporter Domenic Fazioli, Thomas also said detectives “ignored” her case. “I question their competency and their abilities,” Thomas said back in February. “It really pisses me off.” Guess they showed her how competent they are.

Seriously... I'm just imagining how awkward and exhausting it would be to narrate every step of a sexual encounter. They're trying to place all of the responsibility on males. I guess it's unreasonable for a woman to say "I don't like that", or to stop you physically (remove your hand, etc). How does physical contact get initiated in that sort of scenario? Do you have to scream "MAY I PUT MY ARM AROUND YOU" if you go to a movie?
