Same - both of my FWB experiences a move was made early. As a general rule I try to meet new people instead of dwelling on girls I've known for a long time. If you didn't make a move after 2 years I'd suggest the same for you.

For example, every time you see or meet a guy think about a natural way you can touch him. Like a clap on the shoulder, a high five, a light punch on the arm for emphasis. This is kino. You'll even notice how people react differently to you. You won't get in your head during dates if things like this are already natural for you.

There is good advice here - I would just add that you need more practice having engaging get-to-know conversations in general. I got a lot better at dates with girls after I joined social organizations / volunteered and got good at meeting people. Flirting skills are mostly just social skills, you can practice anywhere and with anyone.

Ah okay I misunderstood before. We are missing all the context and nuance of your relationship with this girl so we can't give a definite or meaningful answer as to your chances. But to be honest, odds are that she's just as off-limits now as she was before. Getting in your head about a female friend is a dangerous game with very poor outlook for a positive ending. I would see her as a valuable resource, being a (presumably) attractive girl with a social circle of other girls. Keep her close and…

The more you explicitly sexualize without ever meeting her and giving her physical impressions to connect with the dirty talk, the more pressure and anxiety you're inadvertently applying to her mindset. This is counterproductive, as comfort is very important for her to agree to actually meet up and follow through. Back off the explicit sexual talk, but keep the directness and go for the date.

This is true in all aspects of game, not just in text. But yes I agree.

If this is someone you're not interested in, why are you thinking about this enough to make a post about it? It probably means nothing, and if you're being honest with yourself and us, it doesn't matter anyway.

There's a lot of consensus about avoiding communication until the date namely because many guys screw it up and talk the girl out of being attracted to him because of their text game. But I think younger women are used to building comfort through digital communication before or between dates. Comfort is good, but she should still be somewhat unsure of your feelings. So I'd say maintain some relevant communication but don't over do it. Appear busy living your life but interested. Snapchat is grea…

You'll be fine man. In the first stages of the date, see her and treat her like an ugly best friend that you haven't seen in ages. Listen to what she says and be genuinely interested. Ask questions based on what you hear and let her talk. Be excited to share what you've been up to and learn what she's been doing with her life. Touch her on the arm or shoulder a couple times to emphasize a point. Take it from there. Your job is to have fun and be fun and learn from the practice.

Good thinking. It's among the best ways to practice too because you're fully engaged and invested in having an interesting conversation. I knew I had reached a new level when I convinced a Colombian women I barely knew to join me for a week in a beach town in Ecuador haha. Just let your passion for the language and interest in her shine through and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Maybe have a drink to help connect the witty thoughts to the words and structures lol

If she opened you in Spanish and that's how you've been communicating and you're confident in your ability then don't switch to English. Especially if she's mexicana. Assuming you can keep up she'll be much more comfortable. Mexican Americans are usually more of a toss-up. I similarly learned while living abroad and love flirting with women as a method of maintaining fluency. Edit: I see now you mentioned feeling more confident about expressing yourself in English. Start in Spanish, be fun, get …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
