One of the most frustrating things is whenever you mention this fact I feel like society exclaims that these incidents happen much more to women and if anything exclusively. Now I won't disregard domestic assaults and incidents that happen to women, but would like to see more people accepting the fact that this can happen to either and stop defaulting these cataclysts to men.

To be fair, it does say "a woman's safe space". And Id like to respectful towards that. But the moment men want a safe space, I often see the questions of "why do men need that" or "do men deserve that".

You should see the feminism sub then, they are the same. I see faults in both.

Finally a logical answer.

No I'm saying a think tank in America is not credible. EDIT: Not every, some think tanks are academically oriented and affiliated.

From a Think Tank. In the USA... That's... Not credible for the world as a whole, that would be cherry picking.

Doing less what though? Work load? House work? Health maintenance? Financial savings? Book keeping? Chemistry? Emotional maintenance even? Everything? That's practically impossible.

You're grifting because you gave factual incorrect statements in order to try and encourage a subreddit about men's rights that the way think and feel is incorrect. I'm not arguing, I'm telling you the facts. You're combative, you refered to them as delusional, how is that helping at all? I understand the need to try and play devil's advocate for the sake of discussion, but this seems hardly the point. It's toxic and unnecessary. I feel like you are too young to understand.

Because I called you out on the statistic, and this is not the statistic that supports your claim.

Again, strawman. You're grifting, why are you even here? What are you adding to the topic?
/r/MensRights27/01/25 02:23 AM

I figured you would strawman, this doesn't pertain to what you said. This aligned with workload in married relationships. Secondly, this is a think tank.

Would you like to provide a study and statistic to follow that? Don't be so combative.

Men are high maintenance? Statistics and life in general would disagree.

Either an /s post or just an insane post, either way, unproductive and toxic.

Agreed, it would be hard to find a sub that actually isn't an echo chamber in some way. You restored part of my hope in this sub. I just feel I can't support everything I see without getting some crucial details, and I felt something was missing.

That's what I felt, again alot of context missing.

This is just unproductive and toxic. Look, even I asked for details. I'm a man, there is a lot of context missing and I don't want to jump to conclusions and just assume the worst out of a woman. It's not helping our cause, it's pandering to a very toxic witch hunting behaviour. If you guys disagree with me either this Reddit is not what I thought it is, or some of you just like the outrage and to attack others. I asked questions, I'd like answers, I don't want to assume too much.

That's what I mean, I'm only speculating and there is other context missing.

Maybe I'm reading this the wrong way, but purely by intention I would have to disagree with you. I don't understand the dynamic that there might have been, her reaction is kind of ridiculous but you didn't need to respond at all. I don't see this as just friends, I see it more as looking for something more.

Okay just say which one it is, further elaborating usually can lead to a rift.

It's tragic that potentially if someone that does a selfless act, it could be met with the same circumstances regardless of the intention. I'm sure you're trying giving insight to statements like this: "During the chokehold, some bystanders gave warnings on Neely's health, with one telling Penny, "You're gonna kill him now"." Yet just for the sake of information, there is only one mention or article that someone MAY have said this, and it's just me but I can't say CBS is a great at journalism. A…

Thank you! So I see what the comment means now, the idea of doing a selfless act is met with horrendous repercussions. I saw on another Reddit how someone regarded this guy as a 'feral misogynist psychopath' I believe, not sure how the hell that's correlated to what transpired. Absolutely tragic.

I'm trying to get information on Daniel Penny, can I get a quick rundown on that story? It's really confusing.

Everything with a grain a salt, which is why I can't just take your word for it. Would help if you had a study or data thought might allign with your belief.

Respect for another person's choice. I feel like that's what's wrong with both this sub and feminism sub, that it's so polarizing. Don't shame him for choices against the grain, especially when it's prioritizing his own mental health.

I'm curious what the feminism sub's take on this would be, but there is zero mention thus far. I'd ask myself but I'm going to be a pariah.

The modern day word for loser, or inept.
/r/MensRights18/11/23 08:14 AM

The same could be said about modern day feminists and women that are not apart of that movement.
/r/MensRights18/11/23 08:11 AM

This is exactly what I have been trying to say, it's just hurting the movement. This is why the word "incel" have been used so liberaly.

It's not offensive to ask questions. :)

Oh I don't like the double standards, it's ridiculous how we try to make a step forward, then society makes two steps back. You however are fine. You're asking questions, starting a conversation. As opposed to others "Look at what THESE WOMEN are doing, get outraged!". I don't think creating a tribalism mentality is good for a movement.

Well I for one, notice that this might not be the most welcome place for women too. There has been alot of anti-women posting and pandering, really nit picking on shit women do, some relevant and some really petty. Now some of us know that in order to have some of these issues addressed and acknowledged we need to rally together. So those of the guys that post just for clicks, you are not helping the movement/cause. It is not putting us in a great light. Edit: Really? Downvoting? Care to add to …
