I propose that you met and started dating while you were not broke and dependent on her support, Incorrect. When I met her, I was on disability and I lived in a shitty one room apartment. There was nothing to suggest that I would ever earn money again in my life, let alone enough to support her. She owned her own home, car, and land. So she was in a way better situation than I was financially from day one. I'm not saying that gold-diggers don't exist. They absolutely do. I've met a few myself. B…

I'm here because this post was on /r/all. I'm not a subscriber or anything, but once in a while when I'm 1500 posts deep in /r/all, posts from here start popping up. You come across some pretty obscure subreddits after 2 hours of scrolling. And honestly, I like talking to people I disagree with because it's more interesting. A conversation between two people who share the same ideas gets stale fast. "I feel this way." "I agree." "Ok, guess we're done here then."

And unlike women, men never really experience what it feels to friendzone. What? Maybe desperate dudes don't. I "friendzoned" a girl about a month ago. She was looking for a physical relationship, but I just wasn't into her like that. Because men couldn't care less about women they don't find even a little attractive. That's just flat out wrong. The same girl I was just talking about is a great friend. I care about her a lot. I just don't want to fuck her. But when I'm struggling with the depres…

but she only loves what you bring to the table, money/stability, So when I was broke and she was supporting me, why didn't she just go off and find someone with more money/stability? I can see that the sky is blue. No amount of screaming that it is red is gonna change the fact that it's blue. My wife and I are actual partners. We have a healthy relationship where we both bring things to the table. You may have never known a woman who pulls her own weight, but I can assure you that they exist.

It may be the typical situation for men that are poor or ugly, or god forbid both. But if you're a high value man, finding a high value woman isn't that difficult. But NEETs with bad hygiene can't expect to pull decent quality girls. They are gonna settle for the trashy ones, since they are worth about the same. Then they are gonna get burned.

Nah, you're good at it. I love my wife, and I like her. I enjoy spending time with her. She adds value to my life in more ways than I can count. But look at what subreddit we're in. 4 out of my 5 best friends are women. I'm not friends with them because I'm horny. In fact, only one of the 4 is even attractive. I'm friends with them because they are there for me when I need them. They're supportive and caring, funny, smart, talented, and kind. But again, look what subreddit we're in. People aroun…

Why do you insist on me living the way you live? Why does everyone have to do things your way? What I'm doing works for me, stop hating. Enjoy your own dates instead of knocking mine. Like, if you wanna be the guy that gets mad at a girl for pulling her phone out during a date, go ahead. But I'm just not that guy. I'm too laid back.

If she's on the phone for a lot of the date Yeah, I agree. If she's ignoring me, and I feel like she's just there for the free meal, we're splitting the check. for someone to constantly check their phone I added the emphasis there because I agree. But there is a huge difference between "constantly" checking her phone, and sending her roommate a "Hey girl don't wait up." text. Like, if a date is going well, I'm gonna send a couple texts myself. So I don't really judge her for doing something I'm …

ok with her checking FB instead of starting a new conversation herself I mean, I've probably pulled mine out once or twice too. We live in the Internet Age, people like to be connected. I don't see anything wrong with using a natural break in the convo to message my wife and tell her how the date is going. not splitting the check I'm an older guy. I'm used to things being this way. If I take a girl out, and we hit it off, I have no problem buying her a meal. If she offers to split, I'm not gonna…

Uncuck Oh God. I'm dating women while I'm married. Literally the opposite of getting cucked. Learn a new insult.

I mean, if the ones I've never met are worth so little, I'm good.

Isn't it considered rude? If she pops out the phone and checks her FB during a lull in the conversation, I'm good. Maybe she's telling her best friend how much she wants me to take her home. If she's on the phone for most of the date, I'm asking to split the check. This shit is a date, not a soup kitchen. As with pretty much anything in life, it's all about the balance. But if I'm out with a chick for 2 hours and she's on the phone for 15 mins? NBD.

Maybe I should rephrase it to "women know the value of sex and treat it as more special." That may be true, but I dont see it as a problem. If anything, we (men) are the ones doing it incorrectly. Sex should be valuable, it should be special. It's the closest you can ever be to someone. It should (IMO) be reserved for people you truly care about. I don't hate on people who have casual sex, hell, I've done it myself. But who someone decides to be that close to is their decision, and their decisio…

Straight women just happen to be the group who wants sex the least. Who do I submit the bug report to? Because my wife is broken. My girlfriend too. And most of my exes. I think that the folks who think "women don't want sex" are just unattractive, or possibly autistic. Women want sex. They want it as badly as we do. They just aren't allowed to show it, or they get called sluts. So they give clues, hints, subtle signs. If you either 1) Aren't recognizing the signs, or 2) Aren't attractive, it ma…

Where is the legal fund for men that have been raped in the courts? Who is stopping you from making one? Be the change you want to see. Just like when women complain about not being represented enough in video games. They can make their own games if they dont like any of the ones on offer. You can make your own hashtag and set up your own fund. That's legal.

you move the Bitcoins in Sure, if you want a huge transaction fee, and huge delays. I'll move the ETH or LTC in. But I'll keep my BTC as the side piece, I like to hodl her.

but extremely trashy. Well, not gonna touch the fatty part, but as far as liking trashy girls: I could have all the money in the world, eat the finest lobster and filet mignon for dinner every night, and wash it down with 100 year old scotch. But some days I'm gonna be craving a McDouble and a Dr Pepper.

40% of homicide victims are men, I'm assuming you meant domestic violence rather than homicide. The thing is, people talk every day about abused women. But almost half of the victims are male, and their problems get ignored. This is one day where those abused men can be acknowledged rather than swept under the rug.

As long as you have access to the bathroom whats the big deal. So as long as we give the colored folks access to a water fountain, what's the big deal? So what if the second one is "whites only"?

I don't know either. This is the second mention of Wendy's being anti-man, but I can't find any information about why these people feel this way. I'd really like some context for all of this Wendy's hate. Can anyone elaborate?

The whole "drugs and bad men happened to her" (emphasis mine) is an attempt to show her as a victim, when in fact she beat up a 12 year old girl for giving her boyfriend a Slim Jim. The whole "this never would have happened if not for men" angle immediately reminded me of this sub.

I said I wanted to press charges over the damage to my phone and was told he didn't see it happen. How often do cops see rapes and murders happen? Robberies? Burglaries? They still do stuff about those. That cop should lose his badge.

The person experiencing the recoil is expecting it, and braced for it. The person being shot might not be. This situation is the "maybe even down" I was talking about. I have seen people knocked down by handgun fire during gang shootouts in the housing projects I grew up in. The force can definitely be enough to knock someone off balance, though I agree that in most cases it is not. I've seen it happen with my own eyes, so it is definitely possible.

Even if it doesn't penetrate the body armor, the amount of force will be enough to knock you back (maybe even down) and disorient/slow you. In these kinds of situations, that can be the difference between life and death. So it's useful even in situations where the other would be equivalent to a BB gun. Think of it like this: One is a baseball (the 10mm) and the other is a tennis ball (9mm). Sure, I could hurt you pretty badly if I hit you in just the right spot with a tennis ball, but if I threw…

If I pay you $7/hr, that is your wage. If I pay your coworkers $8/hr, you have a wage gap. Now, say I pay you all $7/hr. But you work 36 hours a week and go to school part time, while they work 60 hours a week. You get paid $252 for that week. They get paid $420. This is an earnings gap. You had an equal wage, but your earnings were not equal. You had equality of opportunity. But you chose to work less, so you earned less.

I didn't make the meme, I was just saying that they gave a source. If that source doesn't actually say what they are claiming it does, then whoever made this is being pretty dishonest.

They gave the source right there in the image. It's right below the statistic.
