It seems like you are fully aware of how she is and still decide to stay, so you kind of have to deal with it or leave.

My friend likes asparagus and I don’t.

Ok, but don’t start complaining that you can’t ever form a meaningful relationship in your life.

Yup, A1 sex life. I give him head daily. And guess what, we french kiss now too. Bonus points, right? I also don’t view marriage like you do. If I’m ready to marry someone, it’s quite the goddamn highest level of interest I could possibly have. I have assets, I have a career. I wouldn’t marry as a transaction. Evaluating women’s interest like you’re doing based off an intimate act is so unreliable. Everyone is different and progresses differently in their relationship.

Yeah, I’m a woman and your post is so off to me. I like to do things gradually physically and by no means, this equates to being uninterested. I’m 30, if that matters. I didn’t passionately french kiss my partner on our first kiss, and turned my cheek on the first date. We were getting to know each other and took things gradually. I love this man deeply and would marry him tomorrow if he asked, so it has nothing to do with interest.

Apparently as soon as you turn 30, you become useless or unable to love anyone according to your logic. Interesting concept. You’re mad about women not settling, but what is your solution? They should date someone they’re not really attracted to? Are you okay with someone dating you but thinking you are not the best thing that happened to them? Sounds like a half-assed relationship to me. Now, I see the point you’re trying to make where it sucks to feel like you’re a second option. But the truth…

The problem with that is that if we go by that logic, then no one is ever allowed to better themselves without being seen as hypocrites because they’ve made past mistakes. I absolutely would love to see people change without judgement for their past mistakes, yes. I think you’re missing my point. Again, I’m not arguing about the fact that he wouldn’t date her, or prioritize himself, I’m arguing that refusing to sleep with someone because you did it with other people in the past is called hypocri…

If I assumed that he meant that, why did I start by asking him what she should do instead? Living her life as she sees fit implies that she doesn’t sleep with him, and by default, gets called hypocritical. The other part of my comment was literally highlighting (not assuming) the only other option she had besides not sleeping with him and asking him if she should do that instead. It’s kind of a binary situation here. I respect the fact that you wouldn’t associate with someone who made this decis…

Lol huh? I responded to this: Its the fact that you let all those other men hit it and then now try to play the Good, Christian Girl. “Play the good, Christian girl”. Sleeping with him would quite be the opposite of this, in this context, yes. This is what I responded to and that’s why I asked him what she should do instead. You’re the one making assumptions here that I’m making assumptions LOL.

Ok? But in order to do so, she still has to share her choices with people to find someone accepting of her situation, correct? The point was that no one has to sleep with a potential partner just because they had a promiscuous lifestyle before or be judged for wanting to stop.

Here’s the difference with you: You don’t criticize that choice. You don’t call it hypocritical, call her delusional or even a reformed slut. And by the looks of the responses on this thread, it’s not that much of an individual situation. Her regrets are indeed personal, and your preferences are also personal. There’s nothing wrong with how you decide to pick your partner, but also with how she decided to turn her life around. Shouldn’t be called hypocritical for it.

I see your point, but again, what should someone who regrets their lifestyle do? You have the choice to move on, and that’s totally okay. But if you criticize the fact that someone doesn’t do exactly what makes you not take them as seriously anymore, it’s kind of wack.

What would you rather her do then? People can change their perspective on something or try to turn their life around. You want her to be like “Oh you’re right, I’ll sleep with you because I already slept with other men before you”? A man who’s expecting to hit it solely because other men did before is probably not very Christian either. It’s just as hypocritical. If you value Christanity, you’ll wait until after marriage. Doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman. If you’re Christian, a virgin a…

He was respectful, smart, funny, ambitious and we had common interests. We went for a while only messaging each other after we matched because of distance, but I always felt engaged by the conversation. When I met him, it confirmed how I perceived him by messaging, but x10. I spent longer with him than I ever spent on a first date and had a great time. I was always a bit wary of how people are on messaging versus real life. Sometimes it’s not what you expect, but not in that case.

What is the point you’re trying to make, OP? Lots of people answered your question and you sound like you’re extremely focused on making people feel bad about themselves because they’ve never been asked. When people tell you they’ve indeed been asked, you jump to your favourite next question, which is “HOW MANY men asked you to marry them”. And if we go by that red pill definition you’re probably very into, a “high value woman” hasn’t dated a shit ton of men. How do you expect her to receive 43 …
