Dude, you realize I'm a woman right? There are plenty of women I know who believe the same thing as me. You are talking to one of those women who are doing their part.

By all means, but if you choose to, you only create more division and thats just unfortunate.

Blanket statements dont help anything, if you believe all men or all women are the same for some characteristic, youre adding to the problem. Some women are untrustworthy, some men are untrustworthy. This is a human problem, not a gendered one.

I was simply clarifying my previous statement. That quote gave us a list of correlations but again tell us nothing about that correlation. When I say parameters I mean we need research showing, for example, the biological mechanisms of how circumcision leads to autism. That would give us an idea about this correlation, and give us an understanding of what this correlation means. There are chances that correlations like this are happenstance so we have to be wary of that.

I at no point said to dismiss it entirely, I said view it with skepticism until the parameters of such a correlation are demonstrated. That means we need more research. Dont dismiss it entirely, and Im not saying its ridiculous, I'm saying view it for what it is: a correlation which demands more evidence in order to understand this correlation.

I think you misunderstood me then or didn't read the rest of what I wrote. Even if there is a correlation, it isn't worth putting much emphasis on because we don't know the parameters of this correlation. What do you even intend to say or determine regarding a correlation between circumcision and developmental disabilities? I would need to see the research article your citing and further research on the topic. I understand you used correlation correctly and intentionally, you are just placing mo…

Where I live, being uncircumcised is rare, and lots of women treat it like its gross to be uncircumcised. It makes me so angry.

I wouldnt read into that stat too much, correlations are funny that way. They can lead you astray if you're not careful, and should be noted while remaining skeptical. Because the link between circumcision and developmental disabilities may be irrelevant. For example, perhaps more developed countries have more polutants in the air which is causing genetic anomalies over time, and more developed countries are more likely to circumcise. Thats a possible link but it doesnt help us much because it c…

I've been able to get several women to see the other side and consider a more rational approach, so I'm hopeful that mens rights will be taken more seriously in time. We all have to do our part. :)

This is super bothering to me the way you said this. I (a woman) am a feminist and mens rights activist that believes circumcision is wrong. My boyfriend does not, he doesnt see any problem with it at all even though he is well versed in mens right activism. This isnt all men against all women, differences of opinion occur and I respect his views as he respects mine. Saying that women dont care about the suffering of men is alienating to all women mens right activists. I have always cared for me…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
