Meanwhile, a boy would desperately try to raise his hand to get picked but wouldn’t—and so made like the girls and sat there quietly only to not be picked in the end. 5	Is ignorance really bliss? When I was ignorant I was always reaching out to people and trying to be liked. I was that guy who’d keep texting in the hopes that maybe they’d change how they felt about me after being there awhile. After a petty rough dating experience I decided to slam the breaks on all of that; and though I’m barely interacted with by anyone I know, at least I’ve shifted that focus to my work and my future plans.
