You can like a person based either on their personality or their looks. In your case it's neither and I think you should just tell him that and stop wasting bith yours and his time. You don't date someone because of their job or how much money they have.

Yes, you have spent a lot of time on that relationship but is that relationship worth spending another 3 years on it? Life is too short for you to not feel valued and to be woth someone who doesn't make you happy anymore. Girl, he doesn't deserve a second of your attention. He showed his true face the moment he didn't get what he wanted.
