That last part is what I was referring to. There are so many variables that could turn a fight. They could have a weapon, you could trip, they could land a lucky punch. Granted, the more you train the more likely you are to win a fight but I'd rather just avoid it outright

Yeah, it's one hell of an ego check. I've only been doing it for about a year and I wish I would have started years ago. My biggest take away from it is, dont fight unless you really have to because you're never guaranteed the win.

It's a ridiculous tweet aimed at devaluing the constitution because it isn't "inclusive" enough. The idea being that since "woman" (or to your point, "women") aren't talked about specifically, it's a sexist piece of legislation that furthers our "patriarchal society".

Brainwashed wasnt the right word. All I was trying to say is there is no middle ground anymore. It's either left or right, yes or no. So in a post like this one its easy to see why people are complaining about trump supporters. I guess I should have asked what tone do you see here that makes it seem like T_D?

I'm Conservative and I agree with you, but probably not for the same reason. I think it seems like T_D because we've been kinda brainwashed into thinking that if the other person doesn't sound like a strong AOC supporter or a CNN spokesperson then they are "MAGA COUNTRY!" screaming, racist Trump supporters. Which is really sad honestly.

Do his hearings mean anything? I don't really care what he says but how could any reasonable person believe anything he says? The guy is testifying before Congress on Trump's taxes and finances before he's thrown in jail for testifying in Congress about his own taxes and finances... and lying through his teeth about it. It's a circus wasting tax payers dollars just so Democrats can listen to someone say "orange man bad" in Congress.

She is in her arresting statement "he's not the victim, I am"... or something like that

My wife asked me about signing up for selective service but my answer was "I dont know how to do that. I turned 18 in boot camp so it wasn't an issue.". She kept asking about how and where to do it but I just had to keep saying "babe... I have no idea". Lol I'm all for it though. There are areas where men are good and others where women shine. We just need to agree on what those areas are and what standards must be kept. The typical Male is stronger than the typical female, period. So there shou…

I think you forgot the "/s". If you didn't and actually managed to string that acronym and 3 words together yourself, then I'd say you need to revisit you priorities. You know nothing of me except this post and the same goes for me. This was basically our first introduction to each other and you greet me with some unoriginal line that's meant to insult my manhood? Would you do that to me face to face? I doubt that very much. I believe you are the kind of person who doesn't have much control over…

I completely agree. Hopefully she learned something from it but I feel like it will be a short lived lesson.

I assure you that I'm not limp wristed, although I'll give you the dork part. I just don't think you should physically assault someone without being physically attacked first.

Those are some harsh words. So you're saying if it was you and another woman face to face, and she was screaming at you, you'd be ok with punching her in the face right there and then?

I think I might misunderstand the question, but if it's "do I disagree with public shaming even without evidence?" Then the answer is yes. I would never judge someone for doing it, it's their prerogative. I just view public shaming as an archaic form of punishment that relies on mob rule and often little information as to context. The Kavanaugh hearing and the Covington High School confrontation are perfect examples of why I don't think it's right. Granted, those two cases aren't about cheating …

I don't know about all these "she cheated on me and it's going on youtube". Cheating is wrong, period. However, I'm not sure that posting your personal life or using it as a tool to shame someone by allowing literally anyone to watch it unfold is the morally correct path. I say this as someone who has never cheated nor been cheated on. I'm simply expressing a belief that I feel would make me a better person and by extension, the world around me.

That would only have landed the dude in jail. While I enjoy fights as much as any other red blooded man does, it should always be a last resort. The man hit her out of understandable frustration, but that doesn't make it right.

She was yelling and slapped something off of the counter and as soon as he jumped over the counter she backed up and immediately began apologizing. She never attacked someone. His attack on her wasn't justified in the eyes of the law (as far as I'm aware, I'm not a lawyer or anything)

She was being a giant cunt but he shouldn't have hit her.

My wife says she's a better driver than me, but I've grabbed the "oh shit" handle too many times to believe her.

He was as polite as anyone should be. She decided to be an ass, so he decided to be an ass. I agree with his actions entirely and hopefully that lady will remember not to bother a service dog and their owner again.

I dont think the majority of people on this sub are any of the 3 things you say. They are just happy that there are men not taking abuse. It's the internet, people go above and beyond in there opinions. Most, like myself are just happy seeing chicks get what they deserve.

Sadly you're right. Although they may let him off easier after seeing what happened. He should have just stopped it after the first hit. He is easily twice her weight. Just subdue her by sitting on her and wait for the cops.

Spitting on someone is disgusting and only shows the utter lack of class and humility in that person, but sucker punching someone because of it is just as bad.

Not really, all of our stuff is linked. I'll keep it in mind though. Thanks for the advice

I considered all of this before we got married. Honestly, we're both messed up people and fights turn bad. I can leave whenever I want, that's no issue, but I truly think we will be fine. Just need serious psychological help

As bad as it all sounds, she would never do that. We have our fights but we'd it would never go that far.

I've tried in the past, but I can't do it covertly and she just lunges for it until she gets it. I also have never liked the idea of hitting a woman. I'd much rather throw them to the ground under their own weight. Gets them away from me, puts distance between us. I actually did slap her in our last fight, to get her to stop hitting me. Sadly, I didnt connect with the fleshy part of her cheek, as i had intended. I accidentally clipped her eye and made her vision go blurry for a few days. I felt …

Lol. No, we're both pretty screwed up individuals. Unfortunately, her faults and my faults come together to be one giant fuck up. For instance, she can't stand it when someone remains quiet in an argument. I on the other hand, cant ever seem to speak my mind when faced with conflict. We go back and forth, it gets bad, then it's over. I get scratches and she gets bruises (from falling). We've made considerable progress in our relationship. It just takes time.

My wife and I are good together. However, there are some nights where shit gets bad. Its usually for no reason. But eventually she will start trying to hit me, and I'll move away, but that only makes her angrier. I let her get a shot or two in, and then she feels emboldened. I try to restrain her, but I feel horrible and she fights until shes hurting herself and screaming bloody murder. Eventually, I just start using her own weight against her, and basically "throw" her to the ground, again and …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
