| 1 | Happiness from within?Haven't read those books, but I read a lot because of my uni program, I'll probably get around to reading those books sometime this year. There should be a general list of hobbies that /trp/ recommends, it's pretty difficult to just stumble upon something that you can lose yourself in, at least I haven't found something I can do hours on end aside from the gym, gaming and reading. | /r/askTRP | 03/01/16 07:20 PM |
| 1 | Happiness from within? Thanks for the encouraging words. I already have the gym, what other hobbies that are productive and time-consuming would you recommend, to take my mind off of things? As of now all I really do is watch documentaries/read fora in my spare time, but I'd like to up it a notch since this isn't productive in the long run. | /r/askTRP | 03/01/16 02:05 PM |
| 1 | Happiness from within?University, go to the gym 4 times a week and occasionally hang out with friends. That's it, I was hoping I'd gather some new ideas from this thread, as I really want something to occupy myself. My friends don't really want to go out often (meet new people etc.) and I'm not sure where to start when meeting new people that are willing to go out, probably at university but I can't really force a friendship. | /r/askTRP | 03/01/16 02:04 PM |
| 1 | Happiness from within?A friend suggested there might be a chemical imbalance as well. I don't really know how to seek medical attention without dragging up everything in my past and risking having to go to a therapist again though. I've already done bloodwork/get my testosterone levels checked and everything seemed normal in that area. | /r/askTRP | 03/01/16 02:03 PM |
