Apart from the morality part. They want women to abide by that, but abandon any real notions of responsibility or morality for themselves - violence, abuse, extreme porn addictions etc are all super normalised within this group. They want back the privileges of the past without having to relinquish any of the privileges of the present.

Before you do anything, ask yourself, “am I only doing this to try and get sex?” If the answer is yes, don’t do the thing. Most people fill an entire lifetime with activities that have nothing to do with trying to manipulate other people.

Don’t fall for the algorithms. All I ever see on Reddit is posts of men behaving like absolutely garbage husbands. Cheating, refusing to support their wife’s kids, refusing to share in childcare or housework, calling their wife names, doing horrible pervy shit. I joke that it’s radicalising me against men. But I also have an amazing husband who disproves all of it. If I didn’t have an actual real life I could easily get sucked into this narrative, and Reddit is more than happy to keep feeding it…

My friend has just taken back the alcoholic abuser who went to prison for attacking her. I’ve only ever known him to lie, abuse her and the kids apparently he’s “totally different when he’s sober!” Well, I wouldn’t know, because when I bought and dropped off school uniform for one of her kids last week, he couldn’t even open the door because he was so wasted.
