That post seemed a bit ridiculous to me. Men are simultaneously missing all but the most obvious signals AND reading into simple friendliness that a woman is flirting? Which is it?

Everything sexual obviously comes down to reproduction though. Bux/fux refers to what the man provides for the offspring (resources/genes) while beta/alpha describes the qualities that lead to whether they are used for one or the other. We can say "madonna heirs and whore bastards" to make the saying more analogous but madonna/whore is basically the alpha/beta part of the equation in that it describes the qualities that lead to which one a woman is used for. More: It's like saying afbb isn't abo…

Monogamous females don't maximize the best potential genes and the most possible resources for their children

The point was that it's not something borne of female projection.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/17 03:16 PM

Of course it exists if the female version exists, unless you are saying women don't all have the same nature

Pretty sure "madonna/whore" was a man's idea... Freud?

It wouldn't make sense to include that 5% as some representation of normal male sexuality though. 5% of people are gay and they're considered irrelevant to trp. Similarly if 5% of women were proven to be perfect NAWALT ladies who were every bit as capable of men I don't expect trp would go changing its theory about women or retracting "awalt"
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/17 12:39 AM

No one claimed all of them. You claimed people's responses are coming from a place of denial about something they know is true whereas the person above thinks most of the responses are genuine surprise at something that never crossed their minds

You did kinda say otherwise.. you said you think people have already thought of this

That's fairly trivial. I doubt most people would disagree if they knew you meant that small a percentage. That's the percentage of a lot of weird mental disorders
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/17 11:31 PM

What matters is what he meant by it, which apparently is ~5%... trivial enough.

So you still don't know why it angered you? Women who have lived as women their whole adult lives are typically better than men at recognizing emotions and their sources, and therefore are less likely to let them interfere. People constantly remind them to be aware of this with stereotypes of how hormonal and over emotional women tend to be. Men on the other hand aren't told that their emotions could interfere with logic from time to time, so they don't respond to suggestions that they might not…

Is it any different when guys do it? An ex harassed me when I refused to stay friends with him post-breakup.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/17 07:59 PM
1

That just means you are using a weird definition of love imo. If you can fall in love just from watching a beautiful woman move, does your love decrease or increase from that point forward if you spend more time with her? Does your feelings of love correlate with any other feelings like interest in her personality, care for her future, respect, loyalty, the desire to care for and protect? Or by "love" do you really mean sexual attraction and/or infatuation?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/17 06:50 PM

(or, at least, she is SUPPOSED to give him these things.) Says who?? It's a woman's job to show a man why she should be the only woman he chooses to fuck. It's her job to sell him on commitment. Well this obviously requires some kind of performance otherwise it would be impossible, as billions of other women are out there existing every day.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/17 06:45 PM
1

Of course it's for the husband it's what you guys are constantly saying is WHAT YOU WANT. Or are you now saying it's more of a sacrifice for a woman to work hard at her career to help provide for her family? Surely that's true if it counts as a sacrifice that men make. Which is it? Is there anything women can do that would be perceived as sacrifice?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/17 06:43 PM
1

That's weird given that almost every single woman I know works or has worked. They know what work is and how hard it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/17 06:40 PM

Ok but you guys seriously hate on women who would rather work than stay home and take care of the family........

You are right, but women rate average men as unattractive anyway. It is not uncommon for men to have little experience with women in general until their mid to late 20s. What are you talking about? Don't you know that women also rate themselves and other women below average? It is extremely uncommon for a guy who grew up in this country to have no experience with women until their late 20s, let alone their 30s which was your initial claim. Dating around as a teen is not the same as scoring a hig…

Did I say women are concerned about kids with no parents? Telling women that they have the choice to be parents is something we can also tell men. This is not a good argument. Women can and do freeze their eggs. Men can and do freeze their sperm, and it's a much lesser sacrifice biologically and practically.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/17 09:17 AM

This is still asking a lot more of women than it is of the man, biologically speaking.

So now people can just have babies and nobody needs to take responsibility for them? Just surrender them to the system? How does that end? The difference btw is that men can get vasectomies, which are reversible and even up to ten years fairly successful. Whereas pretty much everyone here agrees that ten years in a woman's reproductive life won't be so forgiving. Telling a woman she has the option to get an abortion is giving her a much more serious choice because they have limited opportunities…

I never said all men have to wait. I said men who cannot get a woman young are scoring a bad deal when they settle for single women their age when they are finally successful. Any man who couldn't get a woman when he was young is exceptionally unattractive. Seriously, what portion of men do you think go through their whole teens and twenties without dating? Anyone trying to push the narrative that mid to late 30s single women are a good idea is trying to promote a bad deal. He should be getting …

I disagree. It's better to be valued for something under your control than to have these front loaded advantages with a hard end date. BTW who exactly do you think is dating young attractive women, if it's neither young nor old men?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/17 06:05 AM

It is some part of it because there is a consequence they seemingly don't consider which is that being a single mom isn't fun at all it sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/17 09:16 PM

I have my own ideas for how we could do that or how things "should be" but the point I made is that it's not low FTO if one has no reason to believe there are negative consequences to that decision

The nerd opinion is that feminists are anti-nerd. Like the other guy said the feeling is just mutual at this point.

Not just the literal baby making but they are against the over sexualization of women as well. What is the value of those humans women can create? It doesn't give women an ego if they believe that their primary value is to be a physical sex and manufacturing vessel, and that the females she produces have exactly that value as well while only the males she creates might actually add unique intelligent value to the world. Would you choose to be a woman if you could? I don't think many men would, i…

Why are you treating nerd opinion as fact? I was merely pointing out that the examples you wrote are what feminists would say nerds being anti-woman and not the reverse.

You listed feminist complaints about what nerds are doing to them, like portraying them sexually in video games, excluding them, etc
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/17 04:32 PM

One could say it's asking a lot for young women to deal with offers and try to pick a life partner at an age that even men are considered to be irresponsible. There is a huge benefit to getting more time to wait and figure things out.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/17 04:30 PM

His argument addressed the difficulty women have manufacturing people after a certain age.

So women are somehow able to immediately understand what a baby needs when it's crying? I haven't witnessed this at all. Baby cries, so mom checks if it needs changing, tries to feed it, or burp it, or comfort it, until it stops crying. It's not a secret language and dad has the same process.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/17 03:26 PM

Overly emotional women are going to stick in ones memory while the chill ones are more likely to be forgettable examples.

It does take a dash of those qualities to make her believe he is not a threat.

I think the rise in single motherhood is in large part a result of the removal of that as a potential consequence. Less women were single mothers when that was a possibility.

You definitely need to be able to make a woman feel comfortable in order to make her feel safe enough to sleep with you on the first night.

I don't think anyone would disagree that plenty of people are like that it's only when you frame it as a specifically female thing that people will rightfully argue against it. I have seen many examples on this very subreddit of men justifying cheating because she wouldn't put out, was a bitch, etc. "AWALT" itself is often used to excuse men's poor choice in partner ('it's not your fault for picking a bad wife, they're all like that') not to mention the feminism and single moms that prohibited t…

I don't think most people immediately understand these things, you may be overestimating most teens. My (small) contention was more that a late bloomer starts this process later than average.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:58 AM

Best explanation I've heard today is that men have to be aroused to have sex whereas the penetrated party doesn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:51 AM

If you have no reason to believe 'some men will want sex from you without caring for your consent' before it happens to you, I think the first time gets a pass.

I think they are dumb for other reasons (can almost never be proven), though for all I know it could've helped both men and women in tricky situations. I say women choose the risk because they all hear the statistics and largely still choose to go out without chaperones. As it is now, men choose risky behavior by having sex with inebriated women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:43 AM

Operating on incomplete information isn't necessarily a sign of irresponsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:37 AM

If you're saying you started to reach that mature self awareness as a teen I can't see how that's a late bloomer at all given that most of these cases are women older than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:36 AM
2

Putting responsibility on a man doesn't remove risk from the woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:31 AM

They have chosen to accept the risks. How is this unclear?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:21 AM

I could say the same thing about women paying the price for men not being raised to understand their legal dangers and risks. Nothing bad should happen to him but shit happens to innocent people all the time right?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:19 AM

Second one is fair, first one...only if we lived in a world in which women are actually taught that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:15 AM

16 is not a late bloomer...especially in the context of this largely happening in college.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:12 AM

Everyone accepts the risks of going out. It's worth it. They'll still get pissed at and report crimes, no matter how stupid they feel for being drunk enough for it to happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/17 08:09 AM
1

Oh yeah I meant to point that out too. So the numbers are even lower for rape than ARS claims. People aren't crazy for sending their daughters to college, that's a bit paranoid.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 08:58 PM
4

Almost everyone is technically "adults" in a college dorm as most are 18 or over...what makes you think college 21 year olds are somehow responsible and not going to be partying with the freshman? Where else are we supposed to get our booze?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 08:47 PM

You said they back off and take a cold shower right away, then you went onto say that they will continually pressure for sex instead of backing down.

How is that doing MYSELF any favors?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 07:01 PM

Women shouldn't be honest, glad you agree.

I believe students are now required to take a short test about the basics of alcohol including factors like the size and sex of the individual drinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:07 PM
1

Yep they know the risks of getting drunk and especially of having drunk sex with a woman. They choose to put themselves in that situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 05:41 PM
1

But aren't YMY laws in place because of the supposed occurrences of women being unable to say no?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 05:34 PM
1

Why not use the same argument for "freeze response" rape?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 05:02 PM

It's completely inconsistent with any feminist opinions I have heard but I guess it's such a broad movement now that that'll happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 03:58 PM

It's a problem it's just overblown.

The number is slightly higher in this source (23%) but they also note: Female college-aged students (18-24) are 20% less likely than non-students of the same age to be a victim of rape or sexual assault. So it looks like female students are safer than their same-aged peers.

They are having intoxicated or even blacked out sex during which they may get themselves into legal trouble for not listening/seeing a girl's negative signals.

If anything I guess extreme anti-feminists argue that women shouldn't be held responsible for their actions.

Just read some of her comments...she doesn't come across as toxically masculine let alone non-feminine. She could be a STEM person though? In what way is "toxic masculinity" prevalent in STEM?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 07:41 AM
1

Which colleges are reporting that high of a number of rapes, specifically?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 07:36 AM
8

Exactly. A man who gets drunk is increasing his own risk for having sex carelessly and getting himself into legal trouble. It's a consequence of his action that he was aware of, just like women know they might get raped.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 07:31 AM
1

It depends on how the fight went. Some guys literally ask for it. Some drunkenly are attacked and can't fight back. I understand that getting drunk is a decision and that getting raped is a consequence of that decision for some. Getting accused of rape is a consequence of that decision for others. All kids should think before they drink.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 07:17 AM
2

Individual women can choose to be chaperoned or curfewed and I imagine many who are attacked do so. No need to change the laws.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 07:05 AM
3

I believe that is up to the individual woman to decide. If a woman has negative feelings towards or experiences with men, she can choose not to be alone with them. There's no need for legal "protections" like chaperones.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 07:03 AM
2

Them boys are getting just as fucked up, I don't think that's the issue. But yeah once someone has a bad experience it's up to them to change their behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:50 AM

Wasn't there like 3 cases of that in another thread?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:44 AM

Don't risk interfering to help a woman being raped or a man being attacked.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:38 AM

How?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:37 AM
2

Who is admitting fault for getting stabbed?? They may not be proud of being drunk and penetrated but I don't think they typically accept fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:36 AM
4

I think women are told the same. I guess that's why people react similarly to these situations (aka "victim blaming"). If they are NOT told that, is that not a root of the problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:26 AM
1

It's the first one.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:20 AM
3

I don't think anyone argues that women shouldn't need to be responsible for their actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 06:19 AM
1

If your "conscious mind" is able to overcome that "instinct" then which is truly stronger? And yeah, OC wanting a man who doesn't want casual sex is like a man wanting a woman who doesn't fall under any of the disgusting female tendencies. Like men wanting a woman who doesn't want casual sex with a hot Chad are looking for liars too.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 03:45 AM
1

You are defining society in ways that work for you. It's just as easy to create a definition of society that sounds ridiculous or a definition of patriarchy that literally describes something we can observe. NOT a conspiracy against women. Just like a gynocentric "society" can be observed and labeled but can't proven to be tangibly real.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 03:39 AM

That's what I thought
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 01:13 AM

I think people have tried to place values on groups of people for long before the current left existed. If anything, "women are equal to men" or "blacks are equal to whites" are responses to hardline assertions that those groups are inherently unequal.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 12:29 AM

They are definitely not the same thing. r/niceguys is what people mean when they put "Nice Guys" in quotes or capital letters. Beta orbiters is also a very specific and relatively rare thing.

I completely disagree. I think woman have it easier so therefore I mustn't have any clue about what they're going through? Sounds like a huge logical jump. This argument is used regularly towards feminist beliefs about male life. Do you disagree with it?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 12:13 AM
1

Why wouldn't they?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 12:12 AM

What do you mean by having it easier? Do you mean it's actually better? If so, why don't you want to be a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 12:11 AM

That says nothing about how they feel and experience their lives. Most women think men are happy and enjoy being married.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/17 12:09 AM
3

At least through her mid-twenties it sounds like she's relying more on dad's money than "orbiters" (and why would she need any other cash if dad's can actually afford to pay for rent and high class clothes?). And so many guys (who similarly came from money) are still taking money/support from mom and dad at that point, if not even later. It's really just growing up seeing a consistent pattern of who always had what they want...so far, it's not gendered.

Red flags are going to be subjective. So is the use of "interesting" most of the time. If we can't enjoy at least some of the same type of shows I'm going to know I don't want to hang out with that person.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/17 11:24 PM

Men have also listed male friends/best friends as a red flag. I think on a basic level people want to be their partner's favorite person of the opposite sex. Limit threats and all that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/17 11:16 PM

Well obviously you're right if you use those definitions but they are ridiculous so you are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/17 11:10 PM

No one is equal to anybody, making it redundant statement to say any group of people is unequal to another.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/17 11:09 PM

Your conscious decisions are just as much as result of biology. And I think most people do want a little bit of lying from their partners tbh. Most people seem to have the tact to do so. That's why people are so surprised to read forums like this online. If women were perfectly honest about what they wanted and when they were attracted to someone, men would be totally scared off, just as women would be if they knew the same about men.

The point of this post is exactly this, for any woman who's just intelligent enough. Why do men think women care what they say or how smart they are?

Then why do men remarry so often?

I think there is a lot of pressure on women to want custody, whereas men are assumed to not want to care for the kids and get to look awesome for doing minor dad stuff. I can't understand wanting full custody when someone else could do the dirty work while you get to be a fun parent on the weekends.
