Obviously, when I'm wearing my "Owner" name tag, it happens more; but even when I neglect to wear it, I still get pretty good results, just from being in the best shape on the front line and having a clean, fitted shirt and a good overall presentation. You need to assess your goals, and figure out what grades you need to achieve those goals. When I was in undergrad, my target was a 3.5 in order to make sure I got into law school. Hit exactly 3.5, could have gotten a 4.0 if I really wanted to, but I had a golf scholarship to keep, needed to spend time in the gym, and needed to keep up my social network.
