I agree with you on Elam. His tactics are damaging to the MRM and they are so aggressive and offensive that the message is lost in the delivery. People can't hear what he's saying because the focus is on his delivery which is, obviously, dripping with hatred and contempt for everyone he addresses who is not a MRA. Same for his co-hort, JohntheOther, who, by the way, was caught red-handed lying to try to damage a feminist enemy. http://freethoughtblogs.com/pharyngula/2012/03/17/john-hembling-aka-…

Of course he is. He's stated many times how happy it makes him to "fuck their shit up" and, wow, they fucked this kids shit up good. He just doesn't want his website to suffer any fallout from it, but when you set out to destroy a mixed up, clearly unstable teenager's life, anything could happen and they should just take responsibility for their very large part in her decision. I don't for a second believe he has any problem whatsoever with this outcome. He expresses far too much happiness and g…

A great deal of the harassment of this clearly mixed up and unstable teenager (until 2 wks before her death) clearly came from AVfM. They must be so proud. They sure fucked her shit up good. I can just see the glee on their faces as they were driving this young girl to her grave. They're out to destroy lives and they're accomplishing their goal.

Okay, I'll rephrase. Do most MRA's believe that women are worthless and should be banned from certain professions because of their gender?

Yeah, that's just wrong.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying, but given how many upvotes he has gotten and all the MRA's blindly agreeing with him in the comments of the original article, there are plenty of MRA's with this kind of mindset.

Because I don't hate women as a whole and view them as inferior to men and not capable of being a police officer, soldier, or firefighter I'm a misandrist? Seriously???

What I see is a woman who knows that a MRA who is a soldier or police officer may let their fellow female soldier or female law enforcement officer partner die because he hates women as a whole and views them as inferior and dead-weight. I'm not surprised that you don't see that as a problem.

How many members does this radfemhub have? 1,000? 10,000? 50,000? How big is this community? It can't be too big. I'd never even heard of it until MRA's started talking about it and I don't know anyone who reads it.

Oh I get it. You phrased it in a way that would be offensive on purpose so you would be downvoted then came here and phrased it in a more reasonable way in your post title to make women look bad for downvoting such a "reasonable" statement. I notice the smiley face where you said you were heavily downvoted. Such fun and games.

A lot of what he's ranting about isn't discrimination against men and a lot of it isn't even true. Fathers aren't the butt of ALL jokes or even most jokes. Plenty of people appreciate boy's achievements in school - it's a ridiculous statement to say that girls are cheered and boys are jeered for succeeding in school and certainly one he can't back up with any evidence. Most women don't dress "slutty" at work. Women are dragging this country down with their dead-weight? Clearly he is someone who …

That is not even remotely close to what chavelah said. Shouldn't be surprised that you'd spin it that way though.

Is this male supremacist attitude representative of the entire MRM?

Yeah. Right. And who the hell are you to tell me not to respond to any person addressing me? You're not the GOD you think you are. You're actually a poor leader. Time will tell what kind of damage you and your cohorts are doing to the MRM with your lies, exaggerations, and pure meanness.

Finally, some honesty from you - because SWATTING has happened to a journalist, it COULD happen to a MRA. Being a MRA is not actually "now a blood sport" and gender ideologues have not actually proven they are capable and willing to do terrible violence and potentially kill MRAs. Sure, MRAs are free to build rapport with their local law enforcement, and those who regularly harrass others and make attempts to permanently ruin the lives and reputations of people, like the leaders of AVfM, probably…

Yes, Erickson could have been shot because someone called in a false police report. Yes, Ben V could have been stabbed in a home invasion. But using what happened to Erickson and Ben V as proof that gender ideologues are out to do terrible violence or kill MRAs is just plain dishonest. What happened to Erickson likely doesn't have anything to do with the MRM at all and having your home robbed by an armed man probably doesn't either. It's just a dishonest attempt on your part to create hysteria a…

Wow. What a terrible article. None of these examples prove what you're claiming here - that gender ideologues are capable and willing to do terrible violence, including manipulation of police through false reports to harass, and to potentially kill philosophical opponents, critics or human rights activists by cultivating an impression among responding officers of imminent danger, including fire-arms threats. Given AVfM's habit of lying and exaggerating, I've never been confident that the "promin…
