I make passive income off of royalties (I write a lot of books for Harlequin) and many times it surpasses my husband's income. For me, I married him because of his attitude. He commands respect, and his job and income has almost nothing to do with that. I think even if my income was the only income I'd feel the same about him. Even if we had absolutely nothing he is the man I would want to follow.

I think this is universal. If you keep encountering the same problem over and over you have to look at the common factors-- and nine times out of ten, it's you.

If it'd please your man and you feel comfortable doing it, go for it!

I wear lace head scarves. I wear it for religion (God orders women to cover their heads before prayer so angels may recognize them) and for modesty. I like that at the end of the day, my husband is the only man seeing my body and unwrapping it.

Clean the bathroom when you're done doing your morning routine! Take a cloth and wipe down every surface each day when you get up and move through the house. Sprinkle baking soda on carpet then vacuum up to get rid of smells. Put your spices in a drawer, not a cabinet. Keep oils, vinegars, and sauces in that cabinet. Use vinegar, dish soap, and essential oil to clean things. Make a schedule of house cleaning and stick to it.

/r/femalefashionadvice is awesome for good help on dressing to your type. I dress modestly. I've started veiling and it's made me more bold in other colors and cuts I wear.

I know this will sound kooky but I started taking a brand of tea by Yogi called "Women's Tea" and it helped my PMS so much! I totally get the feeling of hormonal drugs making you nuts. I took clomid to get pregnant and I was a total monster on it, it's like someone is abducting your brain! Talk to your boyfriend/husband, tell him what's going on. Tell him you're sorry and don't want to be mean and snappy, and ask him to help you. My husband was so sweet when I told him how the clomid made me fee…

Thank you. I'm trying, I just feel like I'm failing miserably at this point.

I cook a lot of vegan meals for my hubby. I serve them and we've always had the agreement that if I serve something he hates, we order pizza. He'll eat anything I put in front of him as a result. We now eat vegan meals roughly 75 percent of the time. Now we have extra money to put towards quality meat-- we eat delicious steak dinners on Sundays, for example, that we couldn't afford before. Mushrooms are an awesome meat substitute.

Thank you for this. We've put money aside for me to get some stuff like a breast lift once I'm done having our children. I wasn't expecting it to hit as hard as it has that my body will not be the same. I'm proud of what my body has done (grow another human being!) but I guess my expectations weren't realistic as far as making it "behave" post baby.

My son is 6 months old, nearly 7. I was curvy before giving birth but now it feels like those firm curves have turned into deflated bags, ha. I do make sure I shower and dress myself and put on a little makeup, just to feel human. It's more stuff like I don't get the vacuuming done or instead of a thoughtful meal I'm putting together some sort of unhealthy frankenstein meal from what I can find in the cupboard. It's not "me" and makes me feel like I'm neglecting my husband and using our son as a…

He's 6 months old. I only put on 15 pounds with my pregnancy and my son was nearly 10 pounds when I gave birth, so when I left the hospital I weighed less than I went in. I didn't have an unhealthy pregnancy, though, I lucked out and craved healthy things like peanut butter toast and baked salmon, go figure. But even though I'm under my normal weight everything is just different-- it's like everything has slid downwards like melted candle wax. I ended up needing a C-section due to a narrow pelvi…
