Yes exactly, thank you for doing the details. I don’t know how the process of determining the settlements works but surely they should do a case by case basis.

Well when used correctly, child support and alimony create fairness. It’s just that they are abused which is the issue. Not these things in of themselves

Anyway yeah the idea that being expected not to talk about your sufferings or emotions is what makes you strong is so backwards. I know a ton of guys who were not given enough love and care emotionally, and it messed them up. They have emotional issues now, whether externally or still internalized, or whether it resulted into anger issues, harsh self criticism, or a dependency disorder, etc. If instead they grew in an environment where they received enough emotional support, they would’ve turned…

I agree. Although I’m a woman and I use the toxic “be a man” phrase to my advantage as a psychological trick on myself. Like if I’m doing harder labor or I got physically injured and feel the temptation to be upset about it, I tell myself in my mind “pretend you’re a man” or “be a man” and it helps me get through it and I feel strong. I know it’s weird but pretending to be someone in whom endurance and strength is more expected and more so considered a virtue makes me feel better about being in …

This is kind of disheartening, bro. Marriage can be good if you find a good woman

I mean sure, sometimes you’ll see feminists caring about men. I’ve also seen feminist social media pages talk about how we should take away the stigma around men opening up about mental health issues. That’s good they’re doing this, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t countless sexist feminists and that the feminist movement as a whole isn’t doing a lot of harm to men.

How do you even fight for rights? What can I do other than a social media post?

(Edited) I made this response to a comment here but I’m going to copy and paste it here because this is what I believe to most likely be the case, and it’s probably not as huge of a deal as it may seem, just a little silly woman overthinking insecurity thing: It’s what she directly suggesting: being told she looks really good now that she’s working out as a response to her talking about her routine suggests to her that before she didn’t look as good, which hurts and caused feelings of “HE THOUGH…

Hmm not necessarily. This might be true, but I think you’re really assuming things and probably talking it way out of proportion. I think you assume the absolute worst because you are used to women being bitches who look down on men they aren’t attracted to. “Dirty unworthy eyes” seriously? This is what I think to most likely be the case, which is what she directly suggesting: being told she looks really good now that she’s working out as a response to her talking about her routine suggests to h…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
