Great inspiration, thank you. I wish I could gain more muscle. I am skinny, I cycle a lot (100-150km per day on weekends, 30km per day during week as a commuter. Walk a lot, try to do 100-200 push ups per day, yet still skinny as fuck. Should I eat more and or lift heavy weights?

I guess Stoicism helped me to find a healthy balance. Never get attached to materialistic things, people (women especially - it is just your turn...) and sadly, a man should not get fully attached to his children. I am still struggling with this as my son loves me but he may turn into an asshole later on. I will do my best that it will not happen but at the end, I can only control my reaction to external causes. English is not my native language but I hope you will understand what I want to say.

I am in similar position. We share custody of our little son. I believe she has npd traits and was emotionally abusive. I only interact with her via email (that way there is trace), only in regards of our son and I practice limited (no) contact. Didn’t talk to her in person for 8 months and will not again unless there is another 3rd person and the interaction is recorded. Good luck!

I was in similar position, moved to another country to be with my ex-gf. She dumped me, we share custody of our son and I don't want to leave him alone with his narcissistic mother. Was alone, no friends, no social circle. What helped me was physical activity (road cycling, running and hiking in nature). Maybe simplify your life, you MUST absolutely get out from your flat and start moving (sweating). PM me if you want (I live in EU).

I was in very dark and fucked situation like you (nowhere close to your situation, though). I was also very active (mountaineering, running, mountain biking). My narcissistic EX left me and I was so depressed that I wanted to kill myself. What helped me in the end was the basics - running, gym, diet and basics like healthy food. You may laugh but these basics allowed me to get back in life. Let the shit settle but never skip running. Good luck buddy!
