None of the women I know take any days off for periods, we just take a lot of painkillers and stick on some heating pads and suffer lol. Some of them were lucky enough to get surgery, sometimes hormonal birth control can help too but many of us can’t take it due to horrible side effects. I’m talking can’t move, curled up in a ball on the floor, vomiting type pain. The pain is usually only that bad the first two days though, then it’s just an annoyance. I will say that women in my experience do tend to be more “dramatic” (sorry can’t think of a better word) when sick when compared to men.
