Well done. First, the directness of the approach is enviable. Also, I like this because you show a willingness to make a fool of yourself. That works - it lets personality shine through, which gets you laid before any PUA game. One thing, though, about approach 2: you say you were feeling drunk, bored and assholey. I think you were feeling drunk, bored and rejected. When I'm rejected, I start to get mean - some will tell you this gets you laid, and maybe it does... meanness isn't charming, thoug…

Dude these guys sound like total assholes. The girl has known them for four years, so I think you should have just left as soon as they started doing their thing, as douchey as it was. Was this girl really worth it? You could have dipped out, had a laugh with your buddy about how much those guys sucked, and kept on moving. Instead, you got all pissed off and night ruined.

Honestly, I wouldn't. There are other places on and off reddit where you can find the important part of the message: be confident, be interesting. The rest is just specifics that at this point don't do you a whole lot of good.

Agreed - ambiguity crushes game, and bitches love dates.

not sure if I agree with always using the word "date". I tend to feel like this puts unnecessary pressure on an encounter. If it goes well, you'll continue to hang out - and at a certain point the title is unnecessary.

Hey. Respect for getting on here. I think your first two points are legitimate. A wealth of options is necessary not only to find the "right" girl, but also because when you put too much hope into a single person, you're bound to be overbearing and to be disappointed. High value advocates will surely make attractive girls more comfortable around you, so you're more likely to make a connection - something that is surprisingly easy, and unsurprisingly crucial. These terms, though, are so impersona…

Doesn't resonate with me. Sound strategy, but I tend to think that this tactical micromanagement is bullshit.

I've been to well over a hundred shows, and prior to a couple months ago, I had never picked up anyone at a show. I've had some success recently, and I pulled it off because I was seriously so stoked to be at the show and I didn't have expectations. I danced my ass off. If you're trying to pick someone up, you have to get lucky. I went to a huge electronic show and thought I was gonna find tons of girls: nothing. Then at Jack White, I got with a hot ass girl as the sober driver. How? I got lucky…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
