I don't necessarily agree with the "you better be a 10 or she better be a 5" part, but yes I have to agree with needing to start a conversation. If somebody is asking for her number within a minute of chatting with her, then no shit that 80% of approaches won't last for over a minute.

Of course height matters. People have their own preferences as well as the right to follow those said preferences. I'm ~5'4" and it's not very ideal, I'd love to be taller. With that being said, I think when people say "height doesn't matter" is when people are absolutely crushing themselves because of their height and think it's the only factor behind them not being successful. As generic as this response is, the only thing you really have to do is get over it and learn to accept the fact that …

Hoping for a response on this. Really looking forward to possibly seeing a milestone post and the person's top 10 tips on how they handled these questions and what worked best for them.

Wow, I regrettably have only one upvote to give. Well played, sir. Did her father give you a $100 bill at the end of the interaction?

As should everybody. I was just stating that it kind of sucks to have that kind of thing be expected of you when you don't really want it to be.

Wow, it's almost as if you had to deal with what is expected of us by a bunch of people! Ideally in the end though, both people should sack the fuck up and make a relationship where both people are the ones who call the shots and initiate. Having to be a complete reliability/being someone who's completely relied on is pretty shitty imo.

I'm a little confused by the wording of the post. Did you break up with her when you said that you don't appreciate her being late, or was this break up after her still being late after you told her?

I love going out alone, I've only done it a few times for a couple of shows but it was arguably one of the best times I've had. If I'm out somewhere with my friends at a club or concert I like to do my own thing but it's different when you're completely by yourself. It pushes you to just do whatever without worrying about where people are and gives you the motivation to just talk to a whole bunch of random people.

Why does shit like this get upvoted so high? This is the exact problem with the blog spam on this subreddit. I assume it's from bots, but the fact that it happens in the first place is a problem. I really think blog posts should just be axed from this subreddit as a whole.

I joined this subreddit to improve my quality of life as a whole almost 3 years ago. That includes learning how to talk with both men and women better. This subreddit has had negative reputation in the past (more than today it seems like), but there are more benefits to this place than just simply picking up women. With that being said, the main focus of this subreddit is learning how to interact and get with women.

I think it has more to do with it simply being a shitty thing to do rather than worrying about what others think of it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. I've been here for a little over two years now and I don't know if it's just because I've been exposed to this sub for two years, but I've certainly noticed a difference in the quality of this sub over the course of my time being here. If anything, I feel like it's less popular than it used to be and filled with more less quality posts. I haven't contributed to this sub with any posts so I don't really have any room to complain about the quality,…

For example, text "I'M HORNY RIGHT NOW LET'S MEET AND FUCK." Do you regret saying it? (yes you should be..) just send another text, "Sorry.. I was just out of my mind at the moment, ignore that.. I won't do that again.. by the way.. blahblah.." She doesn't care you said that. Good post, but I'm pretty sure sending a text like that and then a second one apologizing would definitely make you look strange in a girls eyes.. and others too.

I'm guilty of this. I started noticing it when one of my friends said I was "blatantly flirting" with this girl I met and was talking to. Whatever, it's the way I interact with people.

When I'm with my female friends at clubs, a lot of guys will either stare at them or harass them despite them having zero interest in the guy. Don't be either of those guys.

ITT: nobody actually answering the question. I think it goes without saying that AA isn't something that you can just easily say "fuck it" and it goes away forever (for the most part), but there is always going to be a moment for everyone where they have to say "fuck it" and help ease their AA. Only two people in this thread actually answered what I'm describing.

Some people really like tattoos and find them attractive on people, so it's definitely natural that he's getting slightly more attention. The extra attention could have given him more confidence, which would explain why he's "alpha" now.

Now, I have a serious question here. What gives the person who asked the other person out an incentive to cover their charge? I agree that asking the other person to pay their share is a dick move if you didn't enjoy your time with them (not talking about this situation, but in general), but the way I see it, people should pay their share and shouldn't expect the person who did the asking to cover for them. A lot of people (women to be specific, sorry to say) tend to think of something such as a…

You call yourself short at 5'8"? That's cute. I'm around 5'4". In the end, who really cares if these people can tell if you're a virgin or not? Worry about yourself, not about others. If it truly bothers you, start working on bettering yourself.

I think the general message of this thread is dumb, because there's nothing wrong with a highschooler wanting to learn this kind of stuff. This subreddit (at least for me) isn't just about learning pickup, but improving your lifestyle and making yourself a better person as a whole. Becoming better with women and seducing them is just a plus, and a lot of these things can be used (albeit in different ways) for things outside of seduction, such as making friends and expanding your social circle. W…

I mean, that's how most approaches will go really. You see an attractive girl and want to get her number and more. I don't see how that's putting anyone on a pedestal, because it's just that: you're getting an attractive girls number. You also have to remember that it's slightly different because they're in the same class, so there's a better chance for interaction between them.

I don't think being a nice guy is bad, being nice just makes you a decent human being. The main thing that makes nice guys look bad (at least in a community like this) is that a lot of nice guys happen to be people who let others easily walk over themselves and put others on pedestals, not have enough confidence, etc. Others might disagree, but you can be a nice guy and not have the negative qualities that people seem to think all nice guys have.

Well, that's different because you're not waiting to text back just for the sake of waiting and seeming less needy. If you can't think of anything worth saying at the time, then it's a valid excuse to not text back as quickly.
/r/seduction11/04/14 05:01 AM

Why do you like reading messages and not responding for a while? The waiting game is fucking stupid. If you're busy, you don't have to read the message or respond right away, but it's honestly really pointless to wait just for the sake of waiting. Those who say that you seem needy or "boring" because you quickly respond to messages are silly.

Their videos are cool, but they got way too sucked into this kind of thing. Wish they would just go back to their weekly videos of them using hilarious lines with the occasional video with tips like they used to.

You're comparing two completely different things. What's confusing about it? It's pretty self explanatory, the point of no fap, and the practice of it, is exactly what the name is. No fapping. The reasoning behind doing it can vary, but the point is still the same.
/r/seduction03/04/14 05:59 AM

The point of no fap is to not masturbate at all, not masturbate once or twice a month.

I'm assuming this is a repost from the SimplePickup forums (which honestly has a pretty hilarious community, especially the highschoolers) and the video is from SimplePickup as well.

I think the "don't put the pussy on a pedestal" advice is pretty solid and self explanatory. Not only that, but it should apply to social situations outside of seduction. Don't put anybody on a pedestal. I agree with everything else, though. For people just starting out, having somewhat wordy advice which basically translates to "just do it" is pretty pointless and unhelpful most of the time.

-The best pickup 'line' is simply "Hi!". I usually don't remember the first thing I said to women I end up with. While I generally agree with this, I think an exception can me made for someone just beginning to approach girls with no experience. I think for a decent amount of people who are just starting this kind of thing care more about the opener and actually trying to start talking to the girl. Once you get more experience and have actually approached girls, then the opener should be the lea…

How come you felt like a dick? Hitting on girls that you're interested in doesn't make you a dick, and you didn't know she had a boyfriend. Don't put yourself down like that. I know this is cheesy and often said, but seriously think of this as a win instead of a lose. You ballsed up and talked to a girl you were interested in, and despite that she had a boyfriend, the fact that you were confident enough to chat her up is really good. Looking her up would have been pretty creepy. Another thing, I…

This is why I'm not a fan of using "HB" as an identification system. Is the second HB7 near the end of the story the same girl who you guys met earlier that night with the desperate friend? Or did your friend meet up with another HB7 that he ended up staying with the rest of the night, and ended up hooking up with her the next day? Another thing, I honestly don't really blame the girl for flipping out about your friend downing her drink after asking for a sip. Maybe she went overboard, but I wou…

I never really understood the thing about waiting to text people, especially if you're having a conversation. I don't know if it's just me, but responding quickly to a text doesn't show that you're "needy" or "uninteresting". If you're occupied with something, don't stop everything you're doing just to text the person, but at the same time don't wait just for the sake of waiting.

No. I've been following this sub since the summer of 2012, and my life has improved greatly. The funny part? I haven't really approached any girls at all, excluding just having random conversation with girls (as well as guys) in clubs, and asking them to dance. Despite not approaching any girls as a lot of people here try (or succeed) to do, this sub has greatly improved myself as a person and has helped made me incredibly confident, a better person to socialize with, and just a better person in…

In addition to that, I don't think it's really healthy to have a partner that "shit tests" you like that constantly, especially if you're in a serious relationship.

I think it's okay to not be fine with someone saying "no", as in, it's perfectly acceptable to be disappointed/sad if you get rejected. The thing is, people act on it instead of just taking it like it is and fucking off or not persisting. I don't like it when a girl says no and a guy continues to creep on her or be incredibly pushy when the message was clearly sent that she's not interested.
