Feminist Logician Amanda Marcotte explains how talking about "the friend zone" is the gateway to spree killing.Yeah a lot of folks here saying the suicide guy was feeling "entitled" to sex and hated women, He did actually say that in his ranting. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 12:12 PM
Feminist Logician Amanda Marcotte explains how talking about "the friend zone" is the gateway to spree killing.Wow, a grown up response. I'm sure that a lot of 'you're a nice guy but...' we hear from women is their way of trying not to hurt our feelings. I'm not sure how we'd react to 'you're whiny, needy, manipulative and not that attractive: please haunt someone else'. Badly, probably. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 12:11 PM
Parenting Rewires the Male BrainWell, I read it. Basically the conclusion was that a gay male brain acted much like a female one. Not exactly shocking news. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 12:04 PM
Catie Maye Releases 'Men Can Wear Dresses Too' "Everybody has the right to be different, those men who cross dress are just exercising their right to be different."Cross dressing is considered normal in some cultures. I saw a huge hairy Turkish bloke in a frock and earrings in London in the 90's, apparently it's not considered that weird in the specific area he came from(or so the Turkish waitress claimed). I won't promise not to laugh at Grayson Perry when he's dressed up as little Bo peep though. He's too old for that look. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 12:00 PM
Open question, what the hell does "men are taught they are entitled to sex and women's bodies" even mean????Surveys of male US college students showed about 1/3 of them said they'd rape a woman if guaranteed to get away with it. Douchebags are more common than we like to admit. My other half used to get hassled constantly when she was younger because of her huge boobs and didn't like leaving the house alone in warm weather because of the verbal abuse and grabbing. Scares me my girls will have to put up with this. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 11:53 AM
Skirts Should Be a Normal Choice…for Both Women and Men "Schoolboys in France stirred up gender norms when they eschewed pants last week. But men in skirts shouldn’t be a provocative sight…it should be a choice as normal as women in pants."Men used to laugh in women in trousers. People get used to stuff. Give a couple of decades an no-one will care, as long as you're tucked in properly when the wind blows. Can we prosecute for upskirting then? | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 11:47 AM
Currently it is impossible for a woman to be charged with rape in the UK due to how the laws are written."Those who are familiar with the available studies will know that women commit sex crimes against men with almost the same frequency as men do against women." I'm pretty familiar with this stuff, I've never seen anything like that. Source please. After a good scour on the interweb, still not finding any hidden epidemic of women molesting men from study data. Generally when women molest the victims are other women or kids. About 5% of SO's being female seems the norm from the multiple studies I f… | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 11:25 AM
Currently it is impossible for a woman to be charged with rape in the UK due to how the laws are written. That's because the definition of rape in the UK requires the insertion of penis. Object rape and other sexual assaults which women can commit as well can have similar length sentences. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 11:23 AM
Somaly Mam, feminist anti-slavery activist, has been found to be lying about her own past as a sex slave (never happened), and misuses the children in her care.Ohhh, trafficking does happen. Those Pakistani gangs In the UK were banged up for it. Common in the far east, but most trafficked foreign UK prostitutes new they were coming over for the sex trade, so it's not as huge as some people claim. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 11:20 AM
On average more than three women a day are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends in the United States...http://www.sigmaresearch.org.uk/go.php?/projects/lgbt/project26/ This is from a Stonewall survey data, lesbians DV at 22%, male gay 29%. SO it looks like lesbians aren't the most violent | /r/MensRights | 28/05/14 05:43 PM
On average more than three women a day are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends in the United States...The stonewall survey had DV incidence in about 20% of cases for lesbians, 29% for gay men. | /r/MensRights | 28/05/14 05:34 PM
How Facebook helped find an abducted Quebec newborn: Should men be worried about their newborn children being harmed by women? Do women feel entitled to owning babies?Well, about every five years in the UK seems about normal. Taken globally it happens more often. It's a very rare crime. | /r/MensRights | 28/05/14 05:32 PM
Aussie judge asks: If an underage boy and underage girl have sex, why is only the boy charged with a crime?I came across this same case on the XXchromosome reddit. The women are actually saying the same things as here. General consensus is that it's a stupid law and a stupid case that shouldn't be in court. | /r/MensRights | 28/05/14 05:30 PM
On average more than three women a day are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends in the United States...In the Uk about five times as many women die from domestic violence as men, but a lot of the men who die are killed by gay partners, not common for lesbians or striaght women to kill a partner. I've never seen a lesbian beating her SO to death on the news here. Used to know a lesbian couple, one was forever kicking the snot out of the other but never seemed to get seriously damaged. Maybe their little hands and feet just can't do the same damage, maybe the similarity in size means it's harder to… | /r/MensRights | 28/05/14 03:16 PM
| -1 | How Facebook helped find an abducted Quebec newborn: Should men be worried about their newborn children being harmed by women? Do women feel entitled to owning babies? How common is this phenomenon? Once every five years or so and they are always crazy. I don't think this can be described as 'entitlement to own a baby'. As I recall men are about 11 times more likely to kill an infant or child based on time spent with it (per hour) . Women are slightly more likely to kill infants due to the larger amount of time spent with them compared to us. Once they stop being babies, fathers kill way more often. Sad but true. | /r/MensRights | 28/05/14 03:00 PM |
