2	Were Women Ever Oppressed? This is my problem. This is such a one sided analysis. If feminists were merely arguing that both genders were oppressed in different ways, fine. But they are arguing that women are and were THE oppressed gender. No women weren't allowed to vote... neither were men for most of history. For a brief period, wealthy men were allowed to vote while everyone else wasn't. For an even shorter period, all adult men were allowed to vote. That right, however, came with obligations. 3	What do you think about "Men succeed at suicide but women attempt it more"? I've read that women are about twice more likely than men to attempt suicide. Given that men actually commit suicide 4 times more often than women, this would mean feminists, when they deploy this argument, are saying that men are 8 times more likely to be successful when they attempt suicide. Are feminists suggesting women are 8 times worse at suicide than men? How sexist of them...
