| 3 | Does female privilege exist?I can see where their argument begins, as far as the three privileges listed being results of a (formerly) patriarchal society. Men were expected to pay for dates because women used to not have jobs or only have low paying ones, and child custody was given to women to women because they were usually the ones taking care of the kids.
