Not all leftists - some are only left-wing 🙌

Why adopt critical theory and expect the findings to hold any reasonable meaning? As I see it, the convenience in critical theory is the tendency to prioritise theory over reality, and then become dissatisfied when reality doesn't match up.

'blue' and 'pink' are not behaviours but symbolic representations and you're actually wrong. Hundreds of studies (from infants to adults, across dozens of cultures) show that females, on average, prefer reddish-purple hues and males prefer blue-green hues when other variables are controlled. This appears as early as 3-4 months of age, before cultural conditioning is plausible, and is found in non-Western and even non-industrial societies. Colour symbolism is a tertiary, symbolic trait, not a pri…

I know the theory. It's wonderfully ignorant how it separates things into social constructions and biology as if they are two separate phenomena - wrong. The same behaviours manifest regardless of the prescription. Gender theory is critical social constructivism.

The genders are not roles - you don't have to adopt the insane gender theory of Mr Money. He was wrong.

Women and children are not protected because they "deserve it".

Why do you use power as a metric? It's not at all obvious to me that power is the primary driver.

No. We don't live in Marx's fantasy world
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/12/25 04:46 PM

Do you think that perception is wrong and why? It's not as if the left hasn't and doesn't produce specialised grievance cults (great term by the way!). Do you think left-wing extremism is better than that of the right?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/11/25 06:07 PM

That's probably because the right is anti-Marxist.

Would you mind telling me how I'm glorifying billionaires? There are a lot of unsubstantiated accusations. Survivorship bias would be if I only looked at the climate predictions that came true and ignored the failures. Do you think I'm doing that and how?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/11/25 05:56 PM

Why are you able to comment on this? Your analysis is extraordinarily shallow, and you have adopted the classic dichotomy of Marxism - the oppressed vs the oppressor, and then you've lumped rich people in the oppressor category. It's not that I looove CEOs or rich people, but I don't hate them because they're rich. You're comparing reality to utopia. If you put theory before reality, you're bound to become ideologically possessed. Climate change is not an existential crisis - climate-related dea…

You insist on gnosticism, as many leftists do. "CEO-class cops"... I'm not a leftist, but on the left.

So your conception of class is intersectionality mixed with a feudal structure? You're less vulnerable as an employee than an employer. Employers bear the financial risk of business failure, potential debt, and the legal responsibility for employee health and safety, whereas employees have a more secure income and the ability to change jobs if their employer fails. A study from 2023 reported that nearly 2,000 of the 3,323 billionaires worldwide earned their fortunes themselves, compared to 314 w…

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/11/25 03:09 PM

No you don't because neither men or women are a minority, and as soon as you start playing the minority-game it stops being about men's issues and becomes inverted itersectional feminism. Why would you insist on moving through the dialectic? There are no "white" or "black" men - it's a misconception. I'm not saying this to be obtuse. You can't talk about men's issues without talking about women's issues just as you can't pathologize one sex without the other.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/11/25 03:05 PM
1

So why would you play the same game? I have done plenty of research. I kind of work in that sort of field too. I would personally not play games at all. The oppression/oppressor-game is infinitely destructive.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/11/25 02:36 PM
-7

How is that clear? Who considers it as inferior? Why would you decide on those factors? As I see it, playing the itersectional game is the problem. Let's say we go by "white" attractive woman; what is she supposed to do?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/11/25 12:43 PM

How does it serve men to play the same game as itersectional feminists?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/11/25 08:38 AM

I also agree that it's nauseatingly flowery and insistent on gnosis itself.... "the real questions"...
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/11/25 10:42 PM

I don't know if you would like for me to answer some of your questions, but here goes nothing. What would you say is a good example of capitalist tyranny? Just so I know exactly what you mean. Is it when ESG does fascism through Blackrock and that sort of thing? I don't have to move through the dialectic, which means that I think the best outcome is always negotiation, invitation, competition/cooperation - competition is mutual (unless you don't learn from losing), and cooperation is mutual (if …

Are you suggesting that I wrote this: "The real question isn’t whether gender or class is the ‘true’ site of oppression, but how hierarchy itself — economic, political, or ideological — keeps regenerating in new forms.”?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/11/25 10:26 PM
1

That presupposes that feminists know what gender-balanced power structures would look like and that power is the fundamental pillar of how we structure our societies. That's another commonality between Marxism and feminism - gnosticism. You also have the pay gap discussion, pension discussion, disparities in pay between jobs held by women and men etc. (economic power). The particulars do not matter so much as the pattern. Marx wanted to initiate the working class to class consciousness, critical…

How do feminists conceptualise patriarchy?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/11/25 08:59 PM

You haven't read my comments then. We don't live in a materialist reality, I think - there is certainly material or the sensory representation of material, but we live much more in a hierarchy of value in my estimation. I'm fine with capitalist idealism as opposed to socialist tyranny. And socialism is tyrannical. I'm not opposing hierchy. I wouldn't even know how to begin with. I think you're mistaken me for someone else dude. I'm not a "what" either 😊

Have you read 'The Second Sex'? What does men having the economic and political power and exploiting women mean? Was she not calling for a feminist revolution to liberate women? Tell me that's not Marxism, or at least queer gnosticism akin to that of Foucault.

Did you red my comment?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/11/25 08:00 PM

No such thing. Feminism can hijack the term, psychoanalysis, which it has, making "feminist psychoanalysis" nothing more than feminist theory, as it puts the theory first and already assumes the unconscious. It's the same with every bit of critical theory; it becomes offended when the theory doesn't match up with reality, but refuses to be humbled and therefore insists that the theory is right and reality is wrong. Take Chodorow: she wanted to convince people that the genders have roles and that…

Feminism doesn't rely on psychology in the slightest as it has a conceptualisation of "men in power" regardless of competency or authority - much like Marxism and the bourgeoisie.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/11/25 06:59 PM
1

Marxist or not?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/11/25 06:43 PM

Do you think we can and should escape hierarchies and where does authority come in? Most stable hierarchies are not determined by power or domination but competence. It's even the same for our closest ancestors.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/11/25 06:30 PM
-4

A Marxist would say that it's always the economy and class struggle that determines the balance of forces and historical shifts - that's the Marxist doctrine and ideology. Feminism has adopted the pattern but changed the "classes" for identity groups. You see this very clearly in itersectional feminism. Do you think Marxist ideology, or socialism gets us closer to mutual autonomy and voluntary cooperation? Competition is a part of voluntary cooperation by the way.

Still not playing. Is your presupposition that the differences between the sexes in terms of pension age, income, spending, etc., are solely due to discrimination?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 06:28 PM
0

No. My argument is that it might be because men don't want to retire. To attribute it to systemic discrimination is too easy unless we can produce clear data that indicates that men want to retire earlier.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 06:20 PM
0

Saying "play semantics" is not engaging. Semantics tend to matter the most in a debate or discussion. I can read just fine. My point is that it's not obvious that the higher retirement age for men is a product of systemic discrimination. You're still trying to attack Mte personally instead of engaging.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 06:18 PM
-4

You don't think it has anything to do with men wanting different things, like, for instance, working more?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 06:14 PM
2

You could engage with me instead of accusing me. What policies lead to men dying earlier?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 06:13 PM
3

Do you think men dying before women is a product of systemic discrimination?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 06:11 PM
-4

I'm not playing. What is sexism outside of different outcomes for men and women in this regard?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 06:10 PM

No it's not. This subject is about economics and the differences between men and women.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 06:07 PM

Why?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 05:54 PM

How about you substantiate your claim? We can continue discussing what being a Leftist requires afterwards if you like, and it makes sense.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 05:25 PM
1

Because you said it. I wonder what being a leftist requires.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 05:06 PM
1

Why does it not require you to be a feminist? In other words, what is the difference between a feminist and a leftist, axiomatically?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 05:04 PM

Why not?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 05:02 PM

What about the spending? Earnings do not figure if women spend more, which they do.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/10/25 03:24 PM
1

I know. That's experience, yes. It doesn't. You haven't explained why you need the "lived". If you had written, "[...] but it is not the experience of being a criminal", it would have exactly the same meaning. You can't experience without being alive, i.e., living it. I guess it would be the same question as before: can you say "my lived experience is [...]"?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/10/25 09:07 PM
0

The problem is that feminism hasn't done anything good - Republicans have. Being a republican means favouring a republic over a democracy, which seems very reasonable given the size of the US. I'm with you. Women are just as horrible as men, although we don't seem to think so in the West. You're without a doubt both a good and a bad person, and so am I. What do you mean by equality? Men and women are not the same, and they won't be the same.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/10/25 09:02 PM
1

Having intimate knowledge of criminal offending (offences?) is not experience but knowledge gained through studying You can't say you're an experienced lawyer if you have only studied, right? Knowledge and experience are two different categories although knowledge is often derived from experience. Even theory is often grounded in experience. Studying would also fall under experience as you would have experience studying.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/10/25 08:39 PM
1

My mistake. Can you say "my lived experience"? What experience is not lived?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/10/25 08:27 PM

So if you can't say "my lived experience"?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/10/25 08:20 PM

I know. Not even close to all Republicans are white supremacists. This is moving the goal post. What do you mean by educated? Either extreme would claim to be well-educated. What do you mean by pro-equality? We don't have to move through the dialectic, so you can also just not be a feminist. I am definitely no fan of feminism, and I have done my homework, which is why I'm more against gnosticism than I am against feminism per se - feminism is mostly a covert coercion of women to become the group…
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/10/25 07:42 PM

You don't even have to go to that extent, as women have been granted the right to kill the children of fathers without any form of consent. Essentially the concept of power screams Foucault. The strange and terrible thing is that it's so deeply embedded in Western civilization that we have come to think of power as the fundamental relationship between people - insane.

That means you're engaging in exactly the same dynamic.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/10/25 03:08 PM

That's you moving the goal post. Can a penis become a vagina and vice versa?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/10/25 08:33 PM

You're not assigned a gender at birth then. There exists no surgery that changes the sex/gender of people.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/10/25 08:18 PM

What do you mean by assigned in this regard? Do you mean recognition? The sexes are not arbitrary.

It's a bit of a surface-level analysis in my estimation. Men have not been conditioned to be stoic, so much as women are more sensitive to negative emotion. This is most likely because of the extreme attention and sympathy required by newborns. That sort of unbridled sympathy gets channelled in all sorts of directions, the more "safety" and comfort women experience - some of them are good, some of them are devastating to people. The devastating kind is often infantilisation, which is extremely d…
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/10/25 07:34 PM

Do you think "social conditioning" is a layer on top of biology? And if so, why are temperamental differences the same across cultures?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/10/25 01:08 PM

Do you think men in general conform to stereotypical behaviours? Or is it that there are differences in behaviour between men and women? Can external appearances make you less of a man?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/10/25 12:52 PM

So your claim is that men getting together in groups to determine who is the most competent in a given discipline are less manly?

It's repressive tolerance... Again.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/10/25 07:28 PM
1

Do you think it's a question of enough? I've come to think that talking about something more doesn't make a lot of difference if the premise is repressive tolerance.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/10/25 08:28 PM
3

Remember that there is a difference between being weak, looking weak and the fear of both. Women receive much more Healthcare in general, and have, probably because societies in general value women much higher than men.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/10/25 07:18 PM
2

Men are generally less neurotic and less prone to focus on or prioritise their own health. A complete medical history is rarely necessary for providing health services, so although it is a problem, it is by no means the biggest issue. In my country, I find that these issues are best exemplified by the gender differences: far more women are diagnosed with cancer, but many more men die from it. This is not to make the issue about gender differences. Still, it paints a clear picture that men's heal…
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/10/25 07:15 PM

Why do you think it's a role and not an innate male behaviour?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/10/25 05:05 PM

There is nothing to suggest that we live in a patriarchy.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/10/25 09:20 AM

'Self-made man' terrible as it presumes that men and women are costumes, and that if you look like a man, you live like a man.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/10/25 09:18 AM
2

Either way, if you don't leave you're house, you're probably not a good proxy for reality. Please don't misunderstand me; I'm not trying to demean you. Are you mentally ill? I'm manio depressive myself - there is nothing I want more than to be normal.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates16/10/25 05:07 PM
1

It's not a role and it's not any more prominent than women, but different.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates16/10/25 05:04 PM
1

Why do you think genders are roles? There are definitely psychological traits that make the higher echelons of authority more difficult for women in general, because women are generally more agreeable than men, and the higher your position is, the more competition there is, and agreeableness hates competition, which is why feminists (and egalitarians in general) seek to abolish all kinds of hierarchies. If women don't have any problems, why do we have quotas?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/09/25 05:20 PM
1

That's only an assertion though. I get what you're saying, but the point is that biology and society are not two separate things. Women provide and have provided tremendously, but in very different ways, which is also my point. This narrow understanding of what men and women do is in large part what has driven us to think of our differences in this way, I think. Would you mind explaining what you mean by "socially constructed"?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/09/25 05:10 PM
1

That would be critical constructivist logic, meaning that the behaviours of women and men are based on expectation and not emerging sociobiology. By your logic, we don't have any egalitarianism. There are no countries where the expectations of men and women are equal because men and women are different. No one expects a man to give birth as no one expects a woman to impregnate a man. You might think these differences are inconsequential, but reality proves otherwise. I live in one of the countri…
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/09/25 02:22 PM
1

You can't separate physical traits from psychological traits. The most egalitarian countries produce the biggest differences between men and women, temperamentally. I don't know what you mean by "gender roles". Genders are not roles.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/09/25 02:12 PM
2

Indeed.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/09/25 02:05 PM
12

Yes, they are. What makes a man is being a man. And no masculinity is not a costume but a set of traits mostly emerging from men. Masculinity is a symbolic representation, not a costume. You can't separate biology from the social at it is one and the same. Being a man does not require some special secret knowledge - it's not gnostic.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/09/25 11:27 AM
7

What do you mean by "masculinity is a social construct"? Men are being themselves. It's not as if they can be something else.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/09/25 11:22 AM
3

If you want to get a broader understanding of what feminism is and where it comes from, I would highly recommend reading about Gnosticism and social constructivism.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/25 04:15 PM
1

Still no reason to act hostile - weird behaviour. Where is the line that discerns what is constructed and what is not and who decides?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/25 03:46 PM
3

Have you read 'The Second Sex'? Simone de Beauvoir really reveals the sort of gnosticism that is feminism. In general, feminism has a clear gnostic tendency. Scary stuff.

Okay.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/25 03:41 PM

Carl Marx was a devote Satanist, so that's not terribly stretchy 🤔 It doesn't say that reality is an illusion, and neither did I. It doesn't matter much if you think it's a stretch - they don't. The idea of 'my truth' is complete SEL transparency, aka gnosis, and that "the divine" is not the divine but human, aka human is God. Have you read Rousseau? Same idea. Either way, traditionalism and feminism are not remotely the same. You could also read 'The Second Sex' - "One is not born, but becomes …

Good question 🙌 because it, like every other gnostic religion, puts theory before reality, leading to "them" constantly being "disappointed" that reality doesn't correlate with theory. "Men and women are not equal (whatever equal means), and therefore we have to [...] to make reality fit our theory". It might be a bit of a stretch to call it a religion in that gnosticism doesn't need faith, as it has certainty, and faith relies on doubt. The secret knowledge is that men have the demiurgic power …

I'm not sure I understand your question 🤔 are you asking why it's gnostic?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/25 12:23 PM

Not at all. It's just not true 😊 if it were the case, everything that isn't feminism, would be bad for women. Feminism is mostly a gnostic religion.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/25 12:07 PM

Yeah, that's an attempted hijack, no doubt. However, advice doesn't have to be original or new to be good.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/25 11:48 AM

You can't be a feminist and simultaneously want what's best for both men and women, though. You are 100% right about the last part.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/25 08:28 AM
-11

What is "lived experience"? Is there any experience that hasn't been lived? Coddling is not for grown-ups 😊 This is how the left preys on insecurity, by the way. In many aspects, it's like the devouring mother.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/25 08:23 AM

Going to the gym and practising a modicum of hygiene is pretty good advice 🤔 to associate this kind of advice with "the red pill community" seems weird and almost like a reverse hijacking.

No I don't. None of what I have described is stereotypical although it is categorical. The reason we can say that men are punished more harshly than women is based on cases.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/09/25 06:59 PM
0

That's too much of a blanket statement, as it actually isn't true, although men tend to get punished more harshly for similar crimes. We indeed have a judicial bias against men in terms of physical violence, but I think you could argue that it is because the consequences of violent men are more severe than violent women. That, however, creates a problem when women are not punished for relational violence or cluster B psychopathic behaviours.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/09/25 06:14 PM
1

That's not your basis for claiming this, right? Only above a certain level, otherwise it helps 😊 men really do have higher pain tolerance it seems. Some people tend to think that this is because of "societal expectations", whatever that means, but the fact remains that society and biology are a feedback loop, not separate entities.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/09/25 03:54 PM
1

There are several sociobiological reasons and biological factors as to why men both have a higher threshold and higher tolerance: competition for mates, physical conflict, working outside and working in physically laborious jobs (almost all men and historically stable). Testosterone is almost like a "natural" painkiller.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/09/25 03:31 PM

You didn't. My question is about social constructivism 🙌 No reason to be hostile. My question remains the same: do you believe that men and women have roles and that these are constructed?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/09/25 02:56 PM
3

There is a plethora of studies showing that men have a higher pain threshold than women, and these studies have been replicated many times over. It's the same for neuroticism. The fact that you know men who are more sensitive to pain than some women you know, bears little to no relevance in terms of general pain sensitivity - these differences are not absolute but general. Men and women experience the same amount of anger; however, the notion that men are more physically aggressive than women is…

It's challenging to conduct a rigorous statistical analysis on the concept of "not being taken seriously," as it involves multiple factors such as assertiveness, hierarchical position, and the definition of what being taken seriously means. There is a notable distinction between feeling unfairly treated and actually being mistreated. While these feelings may correlate, they do not necessarily align. In general, women tend to be more sensitive to negative emotions than men. This means that when b…

By ascribing all the malevolence to the right and none of it to the left. For instance, feminism is without a doubt a leftist movement of radical "egalitarianism" which is evident when you read both contemporary feminist literature but also when you read Camilla Collett, Simone de Beauvoir and so on. Was Carl Marx a right-winger?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/09/25 10:30 AM

That doesn't answer the questions. If they are roles, it would definitely be a construction; however, these so-called "roles" are stable across cultures and throughout history, meaning that they're sociobiologically determined. What remains is the fact that "gender roles" is a convenient term to use as a battering ram for political goals and nothing more. As it turns out, the differences between men and women are not constructions but emerging sociobiological traits.

It's not "performative" in the feminist sense, but it's hard to dispute that men (and women) perform to attract the other. It's not a social construct though, as we would do so without language.

Oh no. That wasn't my point - my point is that being caring is not the same as being good. We have come to a place where people use the word "empathy" as a proxy for being good, which is so dumb it's difficult to imagine how we've ended up here 😬 We use empathy to torture, lie, steal and abuse.

What you just wrote here is why we don't live in a patriarchy 👍
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/09/25 12:53 PM

Yeah. I don't really get that idea, as human males are much more prone to lekking, and our hierarchies are mostly governed by competence, not dominance. It's exactly the same for chimpanzees - the males who "govern" by force are destined to be overthrown, whereas the competent, generous males reciprocate and negotiate. It seems to me that the "sex in private" part is a little far-fetched, given what we see during pride parades, festivals and so on. What is your take on feminism in general? You g…

It has a somewhat childlike view of people. Have you read 'The Gulag Archipelago'? The article divides people into two categories: mean vs. caring - caring can be mean, and mean can be caring. To be caring is not to be good, which is exemplified best in the devouring mother-archetype and in cluster B psychopathy. They claim victimhood because they see themselves as very caring (good), and that "care" is always undervalued in their worldview. It's also a feminist trope. These leftist ideologues a…

Genghis Khan is really the exception. As all of our children are born, what can be considered premature, it's a strong indicator for K and not so much for R, although I see what you mean. It's true that we have a small proportion of R-strategy, but it pales in comparison. The human species has pair bonding built into our biology, as evident from the changes in men's hormones when their spouse becomes pregnant. That's actually pretty wild, when you think about it.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/09/25 12:10 PM

The article is quite misleading though 😬
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/09/25 11:43 AM

To me, the weird thing is that we don't need any disciplines to know that sex and pair bonding are crucial - it's axiomatic. It's a completely unreasonable position to say that sex is like having a yacht or a pet tiger. What always gets me is the fact that these radicals have a profound issue with sociobiology; they desperately want to separate the fact that we're social from biology, and then you get social constructivism, which leads to them being able to say "that's a social construction".

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/09/25 08:17 AM

Yes. Gender equality can't be women's advocacy. The entire scheme doesn't make any sense, except for the convenience of using women's grievances as a political battering ram. The sentiment does not care about women, but about the group possessing the "revolutionary energy". It's straight up Herbert Marcuse.

"Chasing relationships" is very much instinctual. It's present in every single species, including plants, in both male and female forms. Your position is profoundly Rousseauian, which is something you might consider when contemplating your worldview. Human sociality and nature are best construed as a feedback loop, in my opinion, although I also think it's impossible to separate one from the other. Perhaps it would be interesting for you to educate yourself on reproductive strategies in general,…

I believe that rights and freedoms can sometimes be in conflict. The more rights one individual has, the less freedom others may enjoy, and vice versa. For instance, if I have the right to free speech, it means that others cannot freely silence me, even though they may have the opportunity to do so. You are right to observe that many people often confuse freedom with hedonism. Pursuing hedonism can lead to problematic outcomes, as many desires can encroach upon the rights of others. What motivat…

I agree with your first point although I don't think there is any difference between standpoint theory and the fact that all humans are different depending on your level of analysis. And these differences are without a doubt sociobiologically determined. Your analogy about mirrors is true but the issue is …

The only problem with that theory, as I see it, is the premise. I don't think, thinking in terms of demand and service is a good way to frame communication to start with. It has to be negotiation.

I don't think standpoint theory makes any sense as it has to be gnostic, which in turn makes even less sense. I don't think of our consciousness as opposed to or different from our physical bodies. That's also why I don't see any value in the term "social construction". You're definitely right that tyrannical agreeableness has a lot of overlap with communism and socialism in general, although I think it also has a lot to do with women in general as they are more prone to agreeableness than men, …

I think there is something to be said for the fact that in most countries almost nobody had the right to vote. Something I notice often being omitted from the argument about the right to vote. 15% of people had the right to vote by 1900 in a lot of Western countries. The right to vote also used to be accompanied by a plethora of duties, not least the draft - cleaning up horse manure in the streets (no small task 😳), cleaning latrines, fire brigades and you even had to own property at the same ti…

What rights did women not have in 1950 compared to men? And did they have more or less freedom than men? I would love for you to answer the questions if you can 😊 Do you think that hierarchies can be abolished? Radical leftism also advocates for capital, although it tends to dress it up in compassion and "the greater good" - you see this in ESG, DEI, SDG and so on. Socialism requires an initiated elite (something like a political gnostic priesthood) to usher in the utopia (communism). This elite is intended to use centralised governance to redistribute and control capital, media, corporations, institutions etc.. Mainstream media is definitely dominated by the leftist mentality, as they have an active p…

Yes, they do, and I don't blame them - if, say, Eddie Hall wanted to smack me around, I'd use an ashtray too. Why advocate for men's issues and not for issues in general? I hope this doesn't read as a bad-faith question as it's not 🙌 I don't think you can pathologise one sex without the other, and that goes for issues too, so if men have problems women have pro lens and vice versa.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/25 12:10 PM

It's also a stretch to say that men are more violent as women hit men more. We rarely punish violence in and of itself - we tend to punish based on the consequences. As the physical consequences of women hitting men are almost always negligible we tend not to punish violent women as we do violent men. On top of that, women hit men with higher relative force, meaning that the impact is closer to the average woman's maximum physical output than it is when men hit women. The feminists are very hone…

It's actually also a very feminist (Marxist) thing as feminism is also gnosticism, meaning that they possess "hidden" knowledge (critical consciousness) and believe that we live in a patriarchal system built by men for men (demiurgic system).
