2	Oldest Child in the House - Needs > Wants I remember reading that post. And unfortunately the program, especially in recent years, has lost much about what was great about the program. I lived in BSA growing up, in the most adventuous troop in my council. Every summer was spent at camp as a counselor. 2	Oldest Child in the House - Needs > Wants As an Eagle Scout, All-American athlete, and 4 years RP aware, I can tell you that the scouting program has had the most benefit to my life. But it is highly dependent on the local leadership.
