That would a) be completely scrutinized and b) intellectually ridiculous, honestly. It’s almous like they’re zealots... 10	Damsel in distress is an old theme in art and movies. My guess is that nowadays it's not politically correct and thus has been replaced by something different. But what? Unfortunately it has been replaced by Mary Sue type characters. Even though some of the greatest film characters ever are female (100% of Studio Ghibli blockbusters, Alien, Princess Leia...) Film Studios feel the need to create Rey-like characters. I don’t get it, honestly.
