Now can someone post the Socrates quote about how we should all have buff, muscular bodies?

20 minutes warming up is a bit OTT. Nothing worse than watching some pencil neck 'corrective exercise' freak do a 40 minute warm up followed up with a 20 minute workout. And foam rollers are a complete waste of time imo.

If you can run a 6 minute mile, DL double your body weight and perform 20 dead hang chins then you're pretty much set. Chances are you'll be looking pretty damn jacked as well

Yeah sounds about right. I was so desperate in my 20s. I would have fucked a hole on a dolphins head given half the chance. My 30s however....

If you think OKCupid is bad then have a look at Fabswingers. A swingers site full to the brim with land whales looking for 'athletic' men.

Hah I love how Richard Gere and Moby were singled out as Zen Buddhist faggots. Well played.

Thanks for the pep talk kid. I'll get back to you once I've done my 300 push ups and got my T levels up to an acceptable standard

If you're just new to TRP then best get your head down and apply the principles for a couple of years. But no. It's 2 weeks of TRP and now you're a bona fide life coach. Sorry OP but it's posts like this that confirm my belief that we need a TRP for over 30s.

Cutting. The number one route to becoming a neurotic diet queen. As a side note, I find the better you look/more shredded you are, the worse you'll feel.

Powerlifting. The sport that actively encourages you to be fat. Tend to find the powerlifting ladies in my gym are fatties who lack the discipline to stick to a healthy diet.... All the while pursuing some gym based activity which makes them feel superior to the more hotter chicks who just get their heads down and do work...

It goes way beyond women mate. This shit is changing the way people think. It's a validation fuckfest.

Jesus man, what happened to the days when food was just something you ate. There is nothing fucking worse than a diet queen.

No surprise there. MTV misjudged this one. Probably thought the likes would be flowing in.

Jesus fuck, just get in the gym and lift weights consistently. Get the job done and get the fuck out Stop turning lifting into some deepak chopra self help fuck fest Honestly man, this post is the RP equivalent of that Dear Women vid, but in a lifting context. It's manual labour.

Love the line about how you can now "kick the ass of most people I meet In the street" You've lifted weights for a few weeks and now you're Conor McGregor. These lifting posts are getting worse

Growing a beard, a big fucking ginger one at that, did wonders for my notch count. Thoroughly recommended!

Couldn't agree more. Going monk mode is boot camp. Getting out there and applying TRP principles is the battlefield. Maintaining an LTR is winning hearts and minds.

Agreed 100% I work in a popular commercial gym and get an endless procession of fat women, wandering in with a wish list as long as your arm. "I want to get rid of this, that, blah blah" When they cold hard reality is that they've not even began the process of actually turning up to the gym consistently for a couple of month. Yet they want the fucking world... So yeah, just get to the gym and 'fuck around'. You'll eventually work it out.

Don't know why you're being downvoted mate. As great as 'lifting' is, it has next to no effect on the real 'meat and 2 veg' of TRP IMO. The only reason it gets so much love on here is because it's the most easily 'accessible' aspect of TRP.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
