If you haven't made a move and she doesn't know you're interested in her then yes, you're over-reacting. Her comment about your brother has nothing to do with what she thinks of you. It just means that she is interested in him, and apparently not in you as anything more than a friend.

Leave her. Her behavior is abuse and there's no reason for you to stick around for it. Feel free to tell her so.

This. I don't believe in the stereotypical romantic soulmate/perfect match but I do believe in soul mates as people who connect deeply with each other.

Don't act "challenging". That is terrible advice and will just make OP look like an immature idiot. Just make a joke out of it as a couple other posters suggested and move on. Just about everyone goes through at least one drunk text/call debacle in life. OP should learn how to handle his alcohol better or moderate his drinking to a level he can handle without antics like this though. No one likes baby-sitting a drunkie all the time.

Depends entirely on the mood I'm going for. What mood are you looking for?

I guarantee you, with a name like that, she's mostly likely heard every stupid pick up line out there to play on it. Be the exception and just make normal conversation.

Just as an FYI, most birth control pills are low dose these days because they're intended to be taken daily. There are higher hormone dosages available but they're not the standard go-to for the most part. And anyone who only takes them "as needed" is not taking them properly and getting no real benefit from it. Whatever the reason for taking birth control pills, they are most effective when used consistently. That being said, yes, always use secondary protection until you know the person well e…

And? I like babies, and think they're cute. But I'm still child-free by choice and planning to stay that way. Not wanting kids (either for now, or ever) doesn't mean you don't like or actively dislike, babies.

This. Additionally, many women, maybe even the majority of women, who are on birth control are on it for reasons other than just preventing pregnancy. It's very commonly used to regulate menstrual cycles when they're erratic, or severe, as birth control tends to make cycles more even and often alleviates many pre-mentrual symptoms severe PMS or PMDD.

Move on. If the other person can't be bothered to interact, don't waste your time.

I think they both had that problem this time. He proceeded knowing that she wanted more than sex and expected her to be ok with just sex. This isn't even a case of miscommunication. They both communicated what they wanted and then proceeded to ignore that hoping the other would change their mind.

You both fucked that up. She knew what you wanted and you knew what she wanted, and you both proceeded anyway hoping the other would change their mind. This is what immature people do.

OP, please don't ever try to start a conversation with a woman you don't know by looking for something to fault her on so you can tell her what she's doing wrong. That's a great way to make yourself look like an ass/know-it-all/mansplainer (obligatory exemption for life or death situations, like stopping someone who's distracted or not paying attention from walking into a busy street). Ask her if she has any pointers for you (especially if she looks like she knows her way around the gym), ask ab…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
