1	Do language barriers prevent good relationships? Like any relationship, it's a crapshoot. 31 years ago, I married a Cambodian refugee, a woman with limited English, and little education. Her family had perished, and she had been bullied and abused by her fellow students. Somehow, she was not bitter and continued to impress me with her character and inner strength.
