"The more man sacrifices for a woman, the more likely he is to fall in love with his investment. The more a woman sacrifices for man absent of animal lust, the more repulsion she feels for him, interpreting her need for investment as a shortcoming on his part." Interesting,I would have thought that any person investing in another would cause themselves to feel more for the other (as their brain would have to rationalize that they must be worth a lot if I'm giving them so much time/money)

Women are better at seeing things up close, they evolved this way so they could gather berries and plants etc for preparing meals etc Men have evolved to be able to see things far away, like lions, other tribes and rabbits etc, this helps us avoid danger and hunt targets. Because of this, sometimes it is harder for us to see things that are right in front of us-ever open up the fridge looking for the butter and be sure there's none left, only to discover later it was there all along? There have been t…

Excellent Post! "In a comfortable relationship it it EASY to give ground. But if you do she will be simultaneously robbing you of what makes the relationship comfortable to begin with AND what is keeping you from losing your rationality. Their efforts will NEVER stop either. If they do, be prepared to face repercussions soon because you have been successfully turned into her blue little bitch." This is true, the girl is always checking to see if she has more power, like she's tugging the rope towa…

Interesting perspective, thanks. "she said that she does that when she's overreacting to something, knows it, and doesn't want to bother me with it. "<<<<I think she may have actually said something very similar to me before Next time I'll try that venting thing you did, makes sense

Do you really have oneitis for her,or do you miss the emotion you allowed yourself to feel when she was around?

Thanks, these are some good points. As far as putting a ring on her or having children with her,I hadn't really planned that far ahead or expected it to,she started as a plate and quickly eased into a relationship we both love eachother but this silent treatment thing really pisses me off and I'm wondering should I confront her about it or what? sometimes it seems like she's using dread on me,like seeing a text and not replying for hours I appreciate you advice and yes I started taking her to the…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
