You're an idiot if you think 25% of all women are being raped.

This entire sub is basically "I'm talking about these women/men and they exhibit these qualities," while others go "I disagree! I'm talking about these other women/men and they exhibit different qualities!" Also, what's with this Lilith chick, is this some sort of psyop? I've heard her name a few times being "shouted out" but her comments are unhinged lol.

I've never heard the sentiment that a woman single for longer than a year will be single forever. Obviously there are reasons we need to look into as to why this is, and often times it could be a good thing for her to remain single. I do think being a serial monogamous is more of a red flag than being single for an extended period of time. Having 20 failed relationships in the past 3 years is worse in my mind than being single for that same amount of time, just from a surface level analysis. As …

I think it's obviously more common that men mistake friendless for flirtation as friendly interactions is just a normal part of social life, more chances of confusing it for flirtation.

Way to avoid the question entirely lol. Yes, no reasonable person is going to disagree that taking precautions to avoid bad things is smart. The question I posed was simple: should the average woman be afraid of the average man?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/25 08:18 PM
1

Yes. Now the question is, should the average woman live in fear of the average man over potentially getting raped?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/25 07:50 PM
1

Yup, victim mentality.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/25 03:42 PM

So based on your own experiences you think every other woman should live in fear of the average man? You literally admit you could provide stories that prove your position... yes lol obviously. You could also look to women who have never been in a negative encounter with a man. Do you care about those women and those experiences, or only those that reinforce your worldview? The average woman does not need to fear the average man. There is nothing incorrect or outlandish with this statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 06:59 PM

Yes, it's silly for the average woman to fear being raped by the average man. This is the position of someone's perception skewed by a hyper focus on certain stories, only allowed thanks to the widespread dissemination of information, as opposed to actually observing their own lives. This is an issue with dumb people consuming social media. If you're constantly bombarded online all day long about how world War 3 is any second, or how you'll be deported despite being a citizen, or how you're gonn…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 02:56 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 02:42 PM

This is just dishonest af lol, it's like feminists going "whY do Men HavE a ProbLem WiTh EquaL RiGht?!" Stop acting like that's all that's going on, or that it's even the main thing. It also presupposes that the average man is potentially dangerous and that an entire database is required in order to not get raped or something. It's silly.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 02:28 PM

You mean those women are just poor judges of character? Or maybe she recognize these red flags but puts up with him because her own red flags compliment his? Are women ever at fault for their own bad decisions lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 02:24 PM

Yes, which actually makes it easier to avoid them as they're basically exposing themselves. You just need to be able to read the blatant signs and not think with your dick.

Yes it is lol, when someone makes broad generalized statements about a large group of people, like "why do women think it's men's fault," it is always assumed we're talking about as general a group as possible, aka the average woman/man as that is what fits the broadest category possible. Why would you bring up neurodivergent/non-average men though? As a simplistic whataboutism that adds nothing to what the other person is saying. Me: "Generally speaking, it is within men's control to succeed in…

Which group of men dating are we focusing on? The general average the proves the rule or all the exceptions to it?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 08:18 AM

No lol wtf, a paraplegic's inability to climb a mountain is not a problem. It would be entirely illogical for someone without legs to want to grow legs. It is not illogical for someone who is failing at dating to essentially get good by improving themselves. You're making an incredibly dishonest comparison. You're quibbling over the word "fault," which is why I quoted it multiple times because I understand it's not exactly "fault" in the traditional sense of the word. If we were to reword it, it…

The origin of a person's problems might not be their fault, but retaining those problems is your "fault." This is such victim mentality. Take accountability for your person, you know, how you guys are always complaining women supposedly don't do? Adults are responsible for their problems, period. You can certainly recognize that a problem you have originates from somewhere else, but once you recognize you have a problem it is now entirely in your hands to deal with that problem, and if you don't…

There is a pretty apparent type of woman who is going to falsely accuse someone of something so heinous. Normal, well-adjusted, generally good human beings would never make such accusations. It is the mentally unstable ones who pull this bs. Simply avoid those women. But in order to do that, you first have to be able to recognize those of low moral character, that means getting in touch with your own character and recognizing your own faults, as that's the only way to see it in others.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 07:35 AM
5

Because it is the guy's "fault" for being single, as it is anyone who is lol. If you're a man or woman and you're having troubles finding a partner, despite trying, there is something either wrong with you yourself or something you are doing. How is this a controversial statement?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 07:33 AM

I'm going to ignore the entire shovel analogy, stop using simplistic analogies to explain yourself. If you can't justify your claim without using an analogy the claim is weak to begin with. So let's take your last paragraph. A black woman will prefer a white man? How tf is this a wholly true statement?? Explain that and do your best to avoid analogizing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 03:44 AM

You keep saying that all while ignoring the fact I've listed substantial difference multiple times. Address this or admit you're wrong. We can separate women and men based on categories of socioeconomic class, race, religion, etc. You've been arguing nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 03:14 AM
3

Why doesn't it make sense that we have different types of women despite them wanting the same things and what not? You just keep repeating the claim with no justification. No, it's not a strawman whatsoever to say you're effectively refusing to specify women... that's what different types of women is doing, specifying a KIND of woman. You're saying it's useless getting specific because they're only superficial things? I LITERALLY gave examples of useful specifics such as socioeconomic class, rac…

What is this nonsense?? Lol that's like me saying when birds have the same needs and experience, aka they eat worms and fly and migrate south for winter, we can't categorize them. You're just making shit up arbitrarily lol. Why? Why can't we categorize women and men into "average" and "above-average?" Why we can't we categorize them into their socioeconomic class, their race, if they were raised by both parents, if they have kids, etc. All you're saying is we can't get specific, we HAVE to talk …

Yes there are different "types" of men and women. We can sub-categorize these broad groups into smaller groups in order to have more intelligent conversation about the whole. What a stupid claim, what do you think "average woman/man" means? It's a sub-category of all women/men, a "type." Jesus lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 02:00 AM

No they don't, and what the fuck does that even mean lol. Women stand in solidarity as a group through aspiration? Where do ya'll come up with these banal sayings?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 01:58 AM

One type of woman says something, another type of woman does something else. But instead of recognizing this, you act like women who complain about something like men should be more vulnerable are the same women who punish men for being vulnerable. Are there SOME women who demonstrate this performative contradiction? Yes, but they don't represent the group as a whole.

Your claim is that if a man does something meaningless a woman wouldn't care. You literally just assume this to be true without any explanation as to why it is lol. So I pointed out how this is not self-evidently true, that plenty of people can care when someone does something meaningless. I then insulted you. If I didn't make an argument then I couldn't have possibly made an ad hominem as it's literally an argumentation fallacy loool. Simply insulting or name calling doesn't automatically equal…

Oh so yes, you're just being pedantic about the term "meaningless." So is there ANYTHING someone can do that's "meaningless?" So everything that anyone ever does has profound meaning attached to it? And you have zero clue what an ad hom is lol, typically redditor throwing around fallacies to look smart. And yet, in reality, they DO mind if others do them despite it meaning nothing. If a married man has a meaningless affair, his wife shouldn't be upset? iT WAs MEaNinGlESS LOL why would you bother understanding what someone else means when they speak? You clearly have no understanding of how language functions to ask something so stupid, as if words only have simplistic singular definitions and don't add up to something greater than the sum of its parts when used to convey complex ideas. Are you really that daft? You've never heard of people doing meaningless things? Or are you being pedantic over the term and refusing to understand what I mean when I say "meaningless?" Yeah, I think that's it. If you're not going to bother understanding what the other person means when they use a term, you shouldn't be on this sub.

Yes, hooking up with random guys is superficial and meaningless, other than to feel good for a moment. So you're asking if I think this, then surely she wouldn't mind if he hooks up with random women now and again? No lol, of course she would still mind, what kind of dumb question is this? This is the same justification red pillers use to justify why they should be able to cheat and she shouldn't. You're responding in anger because you're an emotionally stunted child who's projecting his own insecurity onto my comment and reading completely into what's not there. And when I repeatedly ask you to specify what precisely you find issue with my comment, you're the who glosses over this and chose to focus on a single line or two, then proceed to completely misrepresent the point. Yeah you're not a reasonable person whatsoever lol, I'm not engaging with the incoherent argument you're having with the voices in your head. I've touched on the reasons behind why men and women feel and do what they do in this situation. I didn't say a challenging approach can't lead to positive understanding and growth on the part of the one you're challenging, I just don't think it's necessary or as meaningful as prioritizing simply understanding the other person, which leads to a deeper connection which is more likely to eventually facilitate long term profound growth. Basically my argument is "time and place." If you're having a conversation on a subject matter, sharing what one another thinks, I think it's perfectly fine to…

Yeah, and that's just where we differ as people. I mean, this is kinda the same reason why people of different political beliefs can't be friends, or at the far extreme literally end up disowning family. I'm never in a challenging/confronting mindset, hoping to make others think more about their beliefs. I'm solely interesting in learning who they are, what they think, and the why behind it. NOT changing their beliefs. If I "challenge" someone's belief, it is always with the intention of wanting…

Alright, so I think we could clear up our disagreement, or at least make it apparent enough to agree to disagree, by using more concrete example. Again these ideas aren't in vacuums but are practically applied, and this is where the value is found. I have a black co-worker, cool guy, pretty ghetto dude. Grew up in the culture, yada yada. I mean you say that it doesn't reveal a lot of useful information but I simply disagree. "Some truth" doesn't mean that statement reflects reality in any meaningful sense? It depends on what you mean by "meaningful." Truth in itself is always meaningful. I take it you mean something more like practical, whereas I am interested in truth simply for the sake of truth. I'm definitely not interested in which conversations are fruitful in this sub lol, but rather how to approach conversations in real …

You're right they aren't good prompts for broader conversation necessarily, but that doesn't mean we can't extract SOME truth from them. That was my point, that these statements are never made in a vacuum, that there's always some context they find themselves in, and the goal isn't to have some productive conversation necessarily, it's simply to understand the idea being expressed. This is how most normal people operate actually. It's why we can laugh at the meme (which is the simplest form of a…

That's a good but largely irrelevant question. Notice how I quoted "emotional," meaning I acknowledge that it's a fairly nebulous term, but I carried on thinking we all can agree we have a pretty similar understanding of it so that you could understand the actual point I was making, which had nothing to do with emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/25 02:06 AM

We can dive into this. Give me an example of a general stereotype or vague idea regarding men and women that you think is mostly true. Or we could use an obviously true one, like men tend to be more aggressive than women. These ideas don't exist in a vacuum, we're not just randomly talking about the weather and then go "MEN ARE MORE AGGRESSIVE!!" lol, they always exist in some sort of context, and this is important. So for example, we could come across a news story about a female murderer who st…

Yes, people won't deal with greater concepts other than the vague stereotypes. So, don't rigidly adhere to any of them as if they are true NOR should you toss them out as useless: because you're not familiar with the higher resolution ideas that are (or aren't) contained in them. This is my whole point, that the solution to this problem IS to familiarize yourself with the greater concepts by attempting to extract possible truth from these generalizations. I also have no rigid, or honestly any, c…

Well yes you can, behind the vague notions are higher and higher resolution ideas that are built upon it. So when we reference vague ideas we all collectively have an understanding that there are more specific ideas the are linked to this idea. It's like a PHd in climate science and a college student saying "climate change is a problem." Those two people do not have the same understanding of this vague idea, as the PHd is going to have mountains of hyper specific information behind ghat vague cl…

Hmm I'm not sure that's exactly true. I think there is a vague notion of masculinity we can all agree to that is good and can be broadly prescribed to men in general. The problem is these vague notions are just that, and by not understanding them on a deeper level you either have a low resolution understanding and execution of it and end up like Andrew Tate or you end up throwing out the entire notion and dismantling the term until it's basically meaningless. I can ask can you give me an example…

Jesus christ you people have zero reading comprehension lol. "Men are just as emotional as women" is a generalization. Are we talking all men and women? Are we equally emotional in all regards? With every emotion? "Women tend to be more emotional" is also a generalization. Is your generalization always true? Is this one never true? Is there any merit to the claim whatsoever? It's almost as if making incredibly vague, generalized statements of fact about an entire group of people based on the arbitrary category of sex is a dangerous game and often dumb. However, it's also pretty dumb to refuse to acknowledge that often even vague generalizations do have SOME truth to be found in them, and that quibbling over exceptions to disprove the vague statement instead of taking the nuanced route of acknowledging how it can be true isn't doing much to progress conversation and …

No, your questions are stupid and aren't based on anything I said lol. Ask better questions. If he doesn't inspire carnal attraction in his partner, why is SHE with him? Why are you so focused on a single side of this? No, I'm not assuming bad faith. Explain how. We're talking about a man who is absolutely fine with vanilla sex but feels a certain way when…

You continue to demonstrate you didn't actually read anything I wrote lol. Men want to be WANTED by their woman. If a woman is eager to display sexuality to casual partners, but is less so for her husband, why is this the case? Sure, it could be that he is failing to foster sexual chemistry... but that's an odd assertion considering she married him lol. I didn't bring up anal as an example lol, the woman I replied to did. It doesn't have to be anal, it's just sexual vigor. For example, a woman admits to her husband who she has sex maybe twice a month with that she used to have sex all the time with random guys. All I'm doing is observing what's going on and asking why, and giving possible broad answers. Doesn't seem like you're interested in actually exploring the topic with any sense of curiosity based on the rather banal and irrelevant questi…

You completely missed the point of my comment and are basically arguing against someone else entirely lol. No one said anything about casual sex being shameful. I'm talking about a very specific situation, that is to highlight a type of woman where the difference in sexual behaviors she WANTS to indulge in with men when she's younger is more willing and explorative with casual partners, but with a serious partner it is less so. I'm talking about why this is, generally speaking. Why a woman would…

Not sure what you think is absolutist thinking about my comment when I acknowledge there are complex reasons behind this stuff and that I'm just speaking generally about this particular issue. And you're not representing the argument accurately. The example wouldn't be of a woman trying anal once and not liking it and her current man getting upset with it; the proper example would be a woman who used to have a ton of anal sex with a bunch of different men but now won't with her husband and never…

"Feel cucked" is the wrong framing, men want to be desired by their woman more than any other man. It's that simple. Even in backward nations or instances of the past where certain gender roles were strictly enforced that still doesn't prove your claim that they are also natural lol. You made a claim with zero evidence. "Then why do they have to enforce it?" is not evidence of any kind, it's a question asked due to a lack of imagination. Why do you think a society would rigidly enforce something despite being natural? Surely you can come up with some reasons on your own if you try hard enough lol. And jesus ch…

What do you mean by "enforced?" If we're using a sociological definition of the term, it means something more akin to social pressure, but that still doesn't negate the fact that gender roles are overwhelmingly due to natural causes. The fact that SOME people do not fit neatly into these roles also does not prove they aren't natural. Almost all behavior can be traced back to biology. When we look at monkeys, their social dynamics are 100% due to biology. Now imagine they slowly gain sentience an…

Because you don't need an egotistical identity for every single thing you believe. Do you identify as a puppist? Someone who's against kicking puppies? Are you an anti-starvationist? Someone who wants to end world hunger? Are you an anti-racist? Someone against racism? Stop stupidly "identifying" with things and just be a normal person lol. Normal people obviously believe men and women are intrinsically equal in value. Normal people don't have to identify with a term that signals their belief. P…

I think it's more accurate to say men, generally, like seeing peak masculinity/femininity, whereas with women it's a little more split. Generally speaking, women also do like seeing those things, but it's a bit more divided, and a significant amount of women like more subtle masculinity/femininity. Idk if it's 50/50 or whatever, but I do think this idea that most women don't like hyper-masculine men is a bit overstated. Plenty do, plenty don't. What we mean by "like" also matters here. What are …

The male-gaze tends to admire HYPER-feminine/masculine traits in men and women? What is an example of a hyper-feminine/masculine trait? Idk how well red pillers do or don't understand either of these gazes, but I think most people don't seem to understand it that well. The "male-gaze" is typically meant as that which generally captures a male audience. For example, a ton of anime caters to males, and a specific kind of man. Romance novels cater to women. If we compare and contrast what appeals t…

Well with any field of competency, we can look at the traits necessary in order to become successful in those fields. A surgeon requires hyper-attention to detail, ability to work under stress, a vast knowledge and ability to apply it, etc. None of which is particularly feminine or masculine. A lawyer or business exec on the other hand do require more masculine traits. The corporate world rewards cutthroat attitudes, climbing over others to ascend the corporate ladder, being stern and argumentat…

Depends what field of competency we're talking about. A competent female MMA fighter or a competent female hospice nurse lol. And if you're unwilling to acknowledge the obvious differences in temperament needed to succeed in these fields, you might just have an issue with the terms "masculine/feminine" themselves. Which is somewhat fair, the terms kinda break down into meaninglessness when applies too specifically, but surely we can all vaguely agree that certain behaviors somewhat fall better i…

The problem with blaming the economy for people having less kids is that it's simply not true. Poor people are having just as much kids as they always have. If we look to poorer countries with much less stable economies, they are as well having plenty of children. Economic factors do play a role for sure, but it is largely cultural. Just look at OP's post, the part where she says "Then, culturally, there is still a societal expectation to get married and have a baby." This is framed as a negativ…

If you're being paid for sex, you are nothing but a glorified sex doll. You are objectifying yourself for no reason other than you have an incredibly idiotic understanding of the function of sex. Sex isn't merely some random, meaningless activity like a handshake or playing tennis, unless you are psychologically damaged. Sex is THE most intimate way to bond with someone you love. Not making the argument myself, but I think it has to do with stated preferences vs what we actually see women go for in reality. Often women claim the want this or that, and when we observe their behavior it doesn't align with their supposed preference. We could run an experiment with these two versions of the same person on Tinder for example, and it is probable that the more muscular one will get more matches. Again, I'm not making the argument, just giving insight into what certain men (defi…

True, but I can see where the red pillers are coming from when they act like they understand women in and out but women can't understand men at all lol. Obviously women can, but men are more so "forced" to understand female psychology as they are the pursuing sex, so to be successful they kinda need to. Women are the pursued sex, they less so need to understand a man's psychology to be "successful." In a sense, men are the ones who come to women and have to compete with one another, while the wo…

You're assuming people are aware of their own psychology? Lol yeah no, it's actually a very rare thing to be acutely aware of one's own's psychology. This is why women (and men) can say one thing and their behavior reflects another. Just because you CLAIM you are one way does not make it so, and we can easily peer into one's character through their actions, something they're often not even consciously aware of until pointed out by an outside observer.

No lol this is just definitionally incorrect. Progressives have a higher proclivity toward, believe it or not, "progressing" in various manners. They're the ones who tend to be more inclined to update their worldview to adopt new trends, such as with fashion. If society is questioning the norms surrounding how to dress, they're likely to adopt these new trends, which include dressing more immodestly under the belief that breaking the status quo is good. Slut shaming exists beyond men lol. Plenty of women slut shame. Shaming promiscuous behavior has always been a relative societal standard for most civilizations because promoting long-term monogamous relationships for most people is how society thrives. The only reason to claim that psychologically a 23 year old would be healthier than a 30 year old is due to the lack of negative experiences a 23 year old has yet to encounter than a 30 year old has. Good dads. Most guys just want to get their dicks wet. And a lot of guys are so misinformed as to what a good relationship looks like, they assume sex is the basis of it when that couldn't be further from the truth. It's emotional connection. If you can form a strong, loving bond, age (reasonably) is irrelevant. The problem is a LOT of guys chasing younger women have bad intention. It's not that going after younger women is bad, it's that THEY are not good people to begin with.

Just to clarify though, "different life stages" is a specific problem separate from age. In your instance, it wasn't that the different life stages was a problem, it was simply you weren't compatible with his life style. This can happen to anyone at any age.

A man shouldn't date a younger women for the same reasons he wouldn't date any woman. Her age is irrelevant (obviously, reasonably speaking). There are SOME instances where age IS an indicator of potential incompatibility, such as maturity level, but people who assume this to always be the case are woefully unaware of how maturity works. You don't just magically continue to mature as you age, maturation is a deeper process and more akin to intentional character development. In fact, I would argu…

Majority of sex workers not having access to these simps doesn't mean they don't exist, so no, my argument is not invalid: there ARE a growing number of simps. Yes lol, there is something wrong with the behavior of simping. Any behavior that stems from mental health issues is wrong. You sexualize her in a healthy manner. A lot if husbands establish a relationship and then expect sex to just magically happen. You have to continue treating her like you were initially, someone you want to fuck. Just like you wouldn't expect a random stranger to fuck you without winning her first, don't expect the same from your wife. But it's not enough just to show your desire for her, she has to desire you. You do this by being that charming, attractive individual she originally was enticed …

That claim is still incorrect, that generally the amount of sex between couples remains roughly the same. It is FAR more common for people to have a lot of sex at the beginning, drops off after the honey moon phase, and sets at a new baseline that remains stagnant. And if it continues dwindling to nearly never, that is an obvious indication of a lack of emotional connection.

Men also don't have sex for the sake of having sex, at least those who are properly emotionally calibrated. I don't want to have sex with my partner just to fuck, I want to do so because there is a profound bonding occurring during sex. A lot of men are not emotionally calibrated, get into relationships with physical attraction being the foundation, and then are surprised when sex dwindles. We have sex with our SO to make love, and the physical act is secondary to the emotional bonding occurring…

He absolutely isn't correct in the slightest. Sex drive drops in committed relationship due to a lack of emotional connection, or a lack of continual bonding. Finding someone new, it's easy to indulge in emotional connection because you're starting fresh, bonding at a superficial level. Even if a spouse continues to bond with an affair partner, they will experience the same problem, where they get to know each other on a deeper level and realize they're unable to bond emotionally. And that lack …

Absolutely incorrect. Your SO's sex drive is dependent on your emotional connection. You assume because a spouse is able to cheat with someone else, even assuming they're more physically attracted, this means that it is entirely physical. Yet, all you need to do is consider the fact that what happens if she were to marry that more attractive affair partner? The same issues would inevitably reveal themselves, and the sex would dwindle. That is because profound sex, and the desire to want to have …

There was decent outrage over a lesbian dating app recently, where users were getting banned for specifying they weren't interested in trans-women in their bios.

Women shouldn't be "demonized" for it, but like most behaviors, we need to determine if this is a behavior we encourage, discourage, or not care about. Most people's intuition lead them to feel discouraging such behavior is the correct response, and there's very good reason for this, despite most people not knowing the reasons for this or how to articulate why not discouraging such behavior is a bad thing. Don't get me wrong, I completely see the appeal, and if I were in my same position but was…

For hook ups I'm pretty open to whatever lol, but certain personality traits can definitely be a turn off. I throw FWB relationships in this category as well, neither of which I think I want to indulge in anyway. For long term, your basic standards: fit, sexually attractive (to me), lovely, warm personality, good family relations, and overall just a good person. My more unique expectation is I would like to find someone who has a certain wisdom about her. Not necessarily intelligent, but an eage…

If she's the type to literally make decisions off of star signs, that is a huge red flag in my eyes. It's interesting because there are barely any straight men that are going to share that same enthusiasm lol. "You're a Libre too! Omgggg!"

My take is simple: if I want a life of mostly casual relationships, I'd get a vasectomy (or this lol). If I find a wife I want to commit the rest of my life to, I won't, unless we have all the children we want and still have an active sex life.
