Time and space to work on yourself. I had none of that while married.

Yeah I wouldn’t want to be his friend anymore. I’d probably call him a coward and tell him not to contact me again.

The stuff mentioned about your CNS is legit. You are completely out of routine and you aren’t feeling safe since life without stress has become foreign. I honestly think you can rebuild yourself. Don’t go for one thing, just create a new routine. Tell yourself, “I’m the kind of man who…(does x),” then do x, and then follow up so it becomes routine. You need to discipline yourself. Motivation is easy, discipline is hard. Your brain and body will get used to it.

i think the last three years of my marriage were spent begging for things to improve until it finally collapsed. there was a quiet mutual understanding that it was over and i’ve been the one acting on it. leave her proximity and move on with dignity my dude.

There’s no way this is real.

That sounds like a confidence issue. Apps are useless for the most part, in-person is best because you have immediate feedback. You’ll always be single if you don’t take the risk.

Why isn’t approaching women an option? If you take care of yourself (meaning mentally and physically) the rest will be fine. If you’re balding, shave your head. If your outfits suck, ask a friend to help out

You’re supposed to talk to them. You’ll be rejected, you’ll be ignored, you just have to keep trying. I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t feel confident in your skin. I met a girl a few weeks after separating and we’re stable nearly six months later. You can do this.

Don’t overthink it, just workout, find a hobby, and get a girl. Getting a girl is easy when you’re confident.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
