If you've started working out recently (never did lift weight before) i wouldnt recommend fasting that much. Yeah you'll lose fat faster but it will hinder your muscle growth too. You would be wiser maintaining a slight deficit (~300-500 kcal under your mainentenance) and lifting weights. Your body composition will change. ​ unless you are obese, then fasting for short periods at a time wont hurt you

I was 123kg (around 270 pounds) and 170cm (5'7) when I was a teen (16). Obsese as hell I'm 70kg (150 pounds) now, same height and I workout 5 times a week with no excuses.
