Oh shit you just described precisely what happened to me over the last 12 months, before getting rejected by the 'special girl' this weekend. Do you have any other reading recommendations? I've read both those books twice, I suppose I'd like something that might go into more depth on how guys like myself end up in these mindsets in the first place?

He already took a seat next to her so they're already in close proximity, then he actually described a great example of how he did it - she held her finger up to his lips, he just went ahead and grabbed it, made a joke that ties into him grabbing it, and then just left it in his lap. One thing he didn't mention is, you can bet he was feeling very physically open and expressive. He already mentioned he 'had to' get up and dance, you can bet he wasn't feeling that 'clutch beer to chest and fake sm…

It's happened, it can't be changed, so don't stress about it. You've got another year to enjoy that lifestyle (Even if final year is gonna be a little different...), just try to remember to focus on your fundamentals and on enjoying each night for what it is - if you start getting hung up on what your uni time "should" be, you risk getting outcome-dependent.

All good stuff, I'd comment on number 2 - I've actually found the reverse. After splitting up with my girlfriend, I find myself remembering her as an absolutely infallible angel of beauty and joy and completeness. However, when I think back to our relationship, I remember a lot of frustration, resentment and doubt. Sometimes the distance can play tricks on your brain... I'm not sure I have advice on what to do about that, but it's good to try and think about things as objectively as possible.

I just read your post. I'm not talking that unattractive haha... I just mean girls who are pleasant enough, but don't really grab you that much. If you're totally unattracted then get the hell out of there!

Well, I've slept with girls who I wasn't that attracted to, as you say for 'practice'. Then because I'm not that bothered, I can't stay hard, then she's disappointed anyway. Then I pull girls who I am really into and all the practice goes out of the window anyway haha... Hey, there's something to be said for taking every opportunity to have sex to gain experience. I do think that even when I have bad sex with someone, I always learn something. However, it can quite often be a frustrating experie…

Aside from the hundreds of great experiences girls can offer you beyond sex, being friends with girls is great for both social proof and introductions to their hot friends...

Heh - I actually had an anxiety dream last night where I was trying to pull this girl, and somehow we ended up at a dinner table with my ex-girlfriend and some other people. This girl started talking to my ex and my ex started talking about going for a weekend break with her new boyfriend - I got sick with jealousy and thought, ok this is just not what I want to hear right now so lets get back to me and this girl, so I turned to her and said the first thing that came to mind, which was, "Man, I …

Have you read most of the sidebar stuff? It's a good place to start (Then the two broadest places to start with success with women that I'd also recommend are Real Social Dynamics' "The Blueprint" DVDs, which I think you can find on Youtube, and Mark Manson's book "Models"). It sounds like it would have been on with this girl, but you failed to move the interaction forwards and so it just dies off. As a man, it's your responsibility to escalate - sometimes a girl will be really forward but gener…

Something kind of similar happened to me last week, with regards to the whole 'she closed me' idea. I went and played an open mic night, singing and playing guitar, a girl came up afterwards, asked me my name etc... We went outside for a smoke and almost immediately started making out. I kinda ignored her a little the rest of the night then as I was leaving I saw her and said, "Hey, I'm going now," and she was like, "You don't even know my name to find me on Facebook?! Let me give you my number.…

Remember that it's way more pathetic to try and act like you're not interested in a girl when you are, than to express your interest and get shot down (That's assuming you do get shot down - which, of course, you won't always). You are a man!!! You want women!!! This is natural!!! You're right, there's a lot of people who get off on mocking other people's failures but it's usually because they're desperate to convince themselves they're cooler and above everyone else, and to deny their own short…

Yeah - it seriously changes the vibe of what he said. I really can't get behind betraying people.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
