My husband is the only guy who has complimented me or called me pretty. Sometimes I wonder if he truly does find me attractive. After being ignored by everyone forever, it was nice to have someone pay attention to me and listen to me and say I’m nice looking. But maybe he doesn’t actually think I’m pretty.

What are some things men like that will make them overlook physical flaws? I’ve always been very patient and I want lots of children. My appearance is okay, my face is above average and I have red hair. I’m young and have some lines on my forehead, though. I’m worried men would see those lines and think I’m not a good “investment” because I could look like shit in a few years.

After having a meltdown in my Algebra 2 class that I’ve taken for the second time, I’m finally starting the process of withdrawing from high school. I need that class to graduate and I can’t pass it. I took the other required math classes at least two times before passing with a C-. I knew I wasn’t graduating on time, so now I’m just going to leave. I feel so stupid compared to my peers. I’ve always been a slow learner and some things I just cannot comprehend. I wish I was intelligent and pretty…

Do men care about the opinions of others when looking for a partner? If a man found an “ugly” girl attractive, would he choose not to pursue her due to what people would think about him? Like he’s less of a man for finding her attractive? I think about this a lot.

It’s hard not to think about aging. I really want to have my own baby someday, hopefully sooner than later, and I’ll need a man to help me. I’m afraid no one will want me because I’ll look bad.

I hear a lot of men talking about how the like young women and it makes me so scared of aging.

I’m having a mental breakdown because I’m afraid my skin is aging too fast. I’m seventeen and I never used sunscreen consistently until I was fifteen and a half. I have red hair and pale skin and I already have super faint lines near my eyes and some that are a little bit more visible on my forehead. I wish I had used sunscreen more when I was younger, I’m afraid I’m going to look forty when I’m twenty-five and no man will want me. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. I didn’t know w…

Yes, you need to be vaccinated to do lots of things in my county. I don’t know when it will end. Until then, I’m stuck at home.

I feel like I’m not welcome and don’t belong anywhere. I don’t have many friends and I would often go do things alone. People would just give me weird looks or be rude. I don’t know if it’s because of my appearance or what. I remember eating in a restaurant by myself and a group of boys my age (late teens) were walking by my table when they were leaving. All four of them gave me a mean look. I don’t know why. Now, in my county, I’m not allowed to go to a restaurant or to any events or theaters o…

Oh, I’m only 17. Plus, I don’t think many guys are gonna go crazy cover a redhead with weight issues.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m going to college. I’ve taken geometry twice and cry while writing essays for English class. I think college would be too much for me to handle.

It’s my last year of high school and I’ve never been invited to anything fun. I try not to care but it stings. Tonight everyone is going to Halloween parties and having fun. My parents are on vacation so I’m taking care of my little siblings. I just want to be a normal teenager. It would be nice if a boy asked me out to do something. Tomorrow I’m taking my baby siblings trick-or-treating and it’s my adopted baby brother’s first Halloween. He has a cute little kangaroo costume. I’m sure it’ll be …

He’s 18, I don’t think I ruined his life.

I didn’t steal him, I doubt he even finds me attractive.

He doesn’t see me as an option. I’m a friend to him and that’s okay.

The guy I liked (but am still friends with) went to the park with me and I took my adopted brother who is a baby. His girlfriend found out and called me ugly and fat and broke up with him. I guess I’m unattractive but she still felt threatened by me. She’s absolutely beautiful too. He’s upset. Can’t help but think it’s my fault. He’s coming over to watch Monday Night Football with my family and I soon.

My parents adopted a newborn six months ago. I love pretending he’s my baby and taking him places and taking care of him. I’m not the most attractive so there’s a chance I won’t be able to have my own baby someday. I’ve always wanted to be a mom and this is a dream come true. My parents want me to go to college but I don’t want to leave the baby. I’m not the smartest, either.

My senior year homecoming is on Saturday. I asked a kid in my math class if he wants to go. He said he’s going with another girl but let me down gently. I’m upset but proud of myself for trying. It’s just how life is sometimes. He’s one of the only people who talks to me at school so hopefully we can stay friends.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
