My lord, our stories could be twins! I’ll be your friend 👋🏻 🙂 I’ll echo the sentiment here. Even seemingly perfect lives have tragedy and loneliness inside them. Just get busy going after what you want and be receptive to things and people that come your way 🩷

If you believe you have no options, that’s indeed what you’ll find. The problem here is your mind and your attitude. Nobody has it “better than you”, you’re just stuck in a place of feeling sorry for yourself. I met the love of my life at 31. You have a LOT of time ahead of you. First things first though: get your mind right. Nobody wants to spend time with a person stuck in victim-mode. Read inspiring books, get busy working on a glow up, discipline your mind and body through regular exercise. …

I made this same move last year. I’d recommend Montana to you. Mostly libertarian values, folks are outdoorsy, scenery is something out of a Maxfield Parrish piece. There are pockets of artistic and spiritual people in Bozeman, Helena, Missoula etc. I do miss the ocean though.

Yes. Underrated comment here. Most confident and secure men won’t ever ask. If body count becomes a topic of conversation, coyly steer the conversation elsewhere. It’s a lose-lose outcome, as, even if he’s pleased by your number, you’ll feel exposed by sharing it, wondering how you’re being judged and then certainly being disappointed by his answer to your obligatory “well what’s yours?”follow-up. He loses if he’s unhappy with the number. Tack left or right and avoid these waters entirely.

Agreed. You're spot on about her attempts to portray a cool girl image. It's really not working out for her so I wonder why she maintains it.. Also, I about died when she yawned on BOTH of their dates. I mean it was funny but absolutely horrifying if you're imagining yourself on the other side of the table!!

I was flabbergasted by the sense of entitlement that most of the women had. As if the world owed them a perfect man. Clearly, most of the women believed that because they earn a lot of money and they’re well educated, well-travelled, there should be a perfect partner just waiting to sign up to join their fan club. Very strange. One woman (Nadia) I thought had a very sweet, feminine openness that will ultimately lead her to the love of her life. The other three (Aparna, Viral and Shital) have maj…

Just chiming in wrt the age concern you have. I met my fiancée at the age of 31 (he was 35) and fairly fresh off a divorce from a woman. I didn’t feel old or like used up goods though. I was wild and free and did NOT have relationships on my mind. I believe that’s why I was able to attract my fiancée. Just being fun and bubbly and confident is hugely attractive to men. Start with this belief you have that being 29 is a death knell. It’s not! Perhaps find an inspiring celebrity who is a bit older…

Hmm. Not sure it really works like that. Look for leadership qualities, wait, be receptive. Create a vacuum. If he doesn’t fill it with his ideas, decisions, etc then you’ll know more about his “alpha” vs “beta” tendencies. This is a gross oversimplification.

You are not doomed to be “cute” forever. You are already someone’s goddess. Your bf will kick himself one day. Also here to say that you can be very proud of all this work you’ve done on yourself! I hope that even in the absence of heartfelt verbal praise from your bf, that the new feelings you have about yourself tide you over and propel you further on your self-improvement journey. Your “doing your best” sounds pretty darn great to me.

It’s fair of him to request that when you’re together you listen to another category of music. Could be more of a him thing than a you thing (since you’ve made in very clear you never did drugs in these festival settings). Concerning though that he’d be triggered by you listening to house music on your own. That’s beyond just a touch controlling and is not reasonable. What would happen if you explained to him what it means to you? Like for example, “I really love listening to house when I’m work…

Hello! I also work in the education field. I understand what you mean about sticking out from your colleagues. However, perhaps the feminine way in which you dress will inspire a colleague to do the same! My favorite recent go-to outfit is a long-sleeved turtleneck top paired with high-waisted trousers. I reach for wide-legged pants and a cute belt or pull-on style 7/8 length pants and finish with a pair of booties. Over top I wear a wool coat with a belted waist. I’m working my way toward weari…
