| 2 | I can’t believe how long it took me to realize that the “nagging wife” sitcom stereotype is literally just “useless husband is incapable of doing his share of the housework despite being repeatedly asked” framed to demonize the woman.Once I realized that I was always the one to initiate cleaning, asking him to take out overflowing garbage, always planning nights out or weekend/family trips, I purposely stopped to see if he'd pick up the slack He didnt! (i verbalized unhappiness in it all too). We've been divorced 9 years now, but not before he dragged my name through the mud that I just "up and left him" 🙄 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 01/06/20 12:49 AM |
