Being charged and being convicted are two different things. And who said he was convicted? I stated he was charged with assault. I didn’t say the video exonerated him just noted that a case is not over immediately. Again, what video? Before the ladies attack they are lounging around in front with a group of over 6 people. Again, the law disagrees with you and is why he was charged with assault. The force used in self-defense may be sufficient for protection from apparent harm (not just an empty verbal threat) or to halt any danger from attack, but cannot be an excuse to continue the attack or use excessive force. Use a little common sense here. If you shove me does that give me the right to pull out a firearm and shoot you. Or am I permitted by law to use reasonable force to protect myself?

I mean, you don’t get to assault people and then dictate the amount of force they use in retaliation.
