His excuses have got to be the most annoying part of this whole thing. My boyfriend and I are long distance, he just moved across the country all of January and started a new job. I started classes, didn’t have a car for a while, moved across the country as well all of January and we both gave each other excellent Valentine’s Day experiences. It honestly doesn’t take a lot of time at ALL to plan a nice Valentine’s Day. Spend 40 minutes on OpenTable, Etsy and a quick Google for a floral shop in e…

Honestly I’ve always seen those when searching for “gifts for him” (for Christmas, birthday, ect). It’s not my taste but I never thought about it like how you described. I understand what you mean though. Sex is fun but why is the only gift we can give men reduced to sex? Is that all we can give to men? It’s okay to give a sexual gift of course, but it’s upsetting that ALL the gifts for men that showed up were reduced to sex. I’m sure this is not only discouraging to women but also to the men wh…

Ladies it is so easy!! If he likes you he’s going to take you on a date! If he thinks you’re easy to walkover he’s going to ask you to do his chores. 😑

Lmao he really tried to make himself sound like a nice guy in this one. Love how a grown man with a newborn child prioritized his time to go type this and throw a self-pity party for internet points. I’m surprised by how many comments on that said what he was feeling is normal. The tendencies of men are heartbreaking.

Honestly, this is why it is so scary to trust men. Even when it seems like they are on our side by appearing “feminist” or “sensitive”, this has consistently been used as yet another ploy to gain our attention and trust. And… eventually use that to hurt us.

I’ve seen so many jokes on tik tok recently about how everyone’s father is just as surprised as the kids are when they open their gifts on Christmas morning. We’re all laughing in the comments but I wish we’d take a moment to recognize how sad that is. Marriage is statistically more beneficial to men than women. Most women in a marriage with kids who have full time jobs are still the ones to do majority of housework and childcare. I personally remember my mom doing all the work for Christmas, wh…

I'm sorry if this is political for FDS, I think the idea of it is pretty anti-FDS handbook and idealogy though. And I couldnt help but look through at WHO would retweet this tweet (there were 3000 retweets and 20000 likes!). Unsurprisingly, most of them were men. I'm pretty new to FDS, but I cant help but think this is definitely pickmeisha culture, as it is degrading yourself and other women to get seriously LVM attention

Why is this me ... :( I just really learned more about FDS. Yesterday I read the ideology, the handbook, and a bunch of the top posts of all time on this sub. I cant believe I'm just now finding this sub and learning about it. It is crazy how all of the ideology of this sub stems from a female's self respect and sense of self worth... and yet it feels so strange and different for me to be reading that I should never pay for a date, or if he doesnt text me enough, drop him. Maybe I've always felt…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
